  1. My only question would be "How much Detail Spray did they use to get that slide so slick"? Obviously it was topped with Americana. I wonder if they used a PC or Rotary for such a smooth surface?
  2. Just a bit south....Waco area...where it was 100+ during "the ordeal" and still is!
  3. 2005 SLK 350, Mars Red, Daily Driver Actually got away from the "obsession" for a few years, what with teenagers and all, but got the bug again and decided to see if I still "had it". So, I placed an order with Ashley to update the arsenal and got busy. Did the "full Monty" - Exterior/Interior/Engine Bay/Wheel Wells, you name it, top to bottom, right down to Q-tips on the door hinges (a bit "over-the-top" but I got on a roll). Think I used about every product there is from Adam including the Wheel Stick (that thing works!). Took about 8 hours and several "beverages" but had a blast throughout. The wife's car looks good again, "brand new", and I'M BACK! Since moved on to the daughter's car (2002 Civic) with similar results but my Subaru still has that "beater" charm about it - besides, the dog loves it just the way it is. The assortment and quality of products that Adam's offers makes it an enjoyable process and the results speak for themselves.
  4. I noticed on one of Adam's videos that he seems to be spraying APC onto the insulation pad under the hood following with a hose spray and blast. Do you really clean this? I can only imagine the grease, oil, grit, etc., but what specifically is the process? Looks like you just "spray and wash with the APC". Is this right? Having never attempted this, my concern would be "tearing up" the insulation. Tips, tricks, advice please.
