  1. Thanks for the suggestions. If I had known before I started applying the dressing that it was a dye, I wouldn't have used it in the firrst place.
  2. I was interested in the ceramic trim coating for my Avalanche behind the cab roll bar thingie. It was very white washed out faded. I had tried the Turtle Wax trim coating and it seems to be a dye type dressing. I put it on and it looks very bad now. Is there some way to remove what I messed up and then use the ceramic coating?
  3. Thanks for the compliments on my cars, and thanks for all the ideas.
  4. I wasn't aware of the wait time. Kind of like years ago when I was using Zaino. Had to wait between coats if you weren't using the hardner.
  5. I have the liquid sealer also, I just thought that was in case I wasn't using the DA.
  6. Hi, I have about all the products but don't know the proper steps in applying them. Say I started with a stripped car, then clayed it. Do I use the paint correction polish, fine machine polish, MSS, brilliant glaze, then Americana? This is on a clear coated car. Also, I have a 1967 Camaro with the black base coat paint. Is there anything special that I should be doing?
  7. Thanks for the suggestions. I have the pads but never got any of the metal polishes yet. I just wanted to get a few suggestions before buying product.
  8. Sorry, nothing close up. Car is off site in the garage. Can't figure how to post pics anyway.
  9. What would you suggest to bring the shine and remove scratches on stainless steel windshield trim on my 67 Camaro? I see on TV they remove the trim and use a buffer wheel. Is there a product and pad that could be used with a drill or buffer?
  10. rwisejr, my daily driver looks exactly like yours. 08 Cobalt SS. Fantastic car, lots of power and good gas mileage.
  11. Thanks, I am going to IPA strip, Clay, Revive, Glaze then Amaricana. I have about $700 in product and I hope that this will give me the results I am looking for. I know that this is not what it will cost to do the car, I have 4 cars that I will be using this on, not all the same product as I will be doing my DD and my 98 Camaro SS with the machine. I hope this willl last me a couple years. I only drive my 98 a few hundred miles a year. Also my 67 Camaro has an old paint job, basecoat only, I assume that it is enamel but it may be laquer since it had been redone about 10 years ago to be original. Original only meaning that it is stock with only the options that came on the car, not nut and bolt original. What product is best to use on a black basecoat finish?
  12. Thank you, I will forgo the sealer this go around. Is the Meguiars DA suitable to use with your machine products though?
  13. Hi, I just bought a boatload of product. I however never got the spray sealer because they were out of stock. I am wanting to give my new ZL1 Camaro an Adams shine. I want to do a hand polish because my Victory Red ZL1 is only 6 months old and dosent have a lot of swirls. I bought your machine pads and the MSS for my 98 Camaro SS. I don't have a Porter Cable, only a Meguiars DA. Could I do the revive by hand, use the MSS, super glaze by hand, then the Americana by hand? Or would you just skip the sealant this go around till I get the spray sealer? I want this paint to "pop" and look like it is wet. Thanks, Stan Sent from my iPhone
  14. The IPA that bought was 70% in the bottle. Do I dilute it again 50%. Is it sprayed on and wiped off or applied to the towel and wiped?
  15. Thank you, all advise is appreciated.
  16. Hi, I just purchased just about everything Adams makes. I have a 12 ZL1 Camaro, Victory Red and want it to "pop". I watched a lot of the videos but am unsure of how to get the best results. I plan on claying after a wash, then the super glaze followed by Americana carnauba. My question is about the sealer. I got the machine sealer because I have another car that will need machine work. Adams was out of stock on the aresol sealer. Where in the process is the proper sealer step? Above the glaze and under the Americana? Thanks for any advise you can give, Stan
