  1. Thanks guys. Do any of you swap out your blades during the summer. Here in California it pretty much doesn't rain from May to October. Someone suggested that I should install cheap blades for the summer, and better quality blades for the winter. Just out of curiosity, what happens if you use SVTR on the blades?
  2. How do you guys care for your wipers? Do you use your wash mitt with shampoo, or do you use something else? After washing do you treat the blades with something to prolong its useful life? SVTR maybe? Thanks
  3. Wow TJ, same thing happened to me. I ordered a couple of wash buckets, pads and waterless wash. I was surprised to find 2 wash pads and a couple of bottles of shampoo. I spoke with Matt @ Adams and he said the pads and shampoo were on them, enjoy. Thank you Adams...you guys are awesome!
  4. Thanks Mook. It still beads pretty good. I too used QS, BG and Americana. We don't get much rain between May - October, and the truck is garaged during the night. Will "looser" beading be an indication that I need to reapply sealant? I always thought beading had more to do with wax. Thanks
  5. Just got introduced to Adams back in May, so I have a couple of questions regarding exterior maintenance. I clayed, polished, sealed and waxed my truck a couple of months ago. I'd like to do a follow up before the rains get here in October. How often do I need to apply sealant assuming I wax my truck every 4-6 months? Is there a way of telling when a vehicle needs to be resealed? I used Quick Sealant, but I also have Machine Super Sealant. I assume before resealing I need to strip the truck of the old wax using Dawn or APC? Thanks for you help.
  6. Just wanted to give a shout out to the good folks at Adams. I placed an order for a bunch of items on Friday to take advantage of the Labor Day sale. I figured with the volume of orders coming in because of the sale, my order probably wouldn't ship until tomorrow (Wednesday). I checked my order status on Monday night and was surprised to see my order was packed and ready for shipment on Tuesday. A FedEx tracking number was assigned to my package at 3:30 Monday afternoon - Labor Day! That's great customer service. Going the extra mile to get the customer's order out in a timely manner. Double thumbs up!
  7. I gotta admit I've become somewhat of a snob when it comes to the condition of cars. 6 months ago I was one of those that used a regular sponge and water to wash my car. I would then dry the car using a couple of cotton towels. Adam's polishes changed all of that. and I now have a much greater appreciation for a well cared for car. Now I can't help but notice the condition of a car's paint, but I have to keep reminding myself that the owners probably don't know any better, just like me 6 months ago. How do you approach someone about their car?...you don't. As Frank said, "just let it ride". I don't think it's any of my business to tell someone how to care for their car. Now if he comments on the condition and/or shine of my truck, I'd probably use that as an opportunity to get into a conversation about the proper care of his car.
  8. See that you guys are going to be at the Goodguys West Coast Nationals. Are you going to have any demos or show specials? Sorry, I've never been to one of these events... don't know what to expect. Thanks
  9. What's the ratio or recipe for Super VRT milk?
  10. Thumpr, I've watched that QS video several times, and I too thought Dylan was applying it as an LSP. Perhaps to make things clearer they could have a little pop up bubble which suggest that for optimal protection the QS should be followed by an application of glaze and wax.
