  1. Nice write up, and awesome car. Love my 04 V with 126,000... they are great cars and you will have fun with it... Adam's has been an amazing help keeping my black looking sharp.
  2. Awesome video and cant wait to try some new product. I will also give props for the bag, if it does not become available I think it should.
  3. Brilliant Glaze should be all liquid, give it a good shake and you should be fine. I dont think it would be a good idea to put it in the fridge. BG will seperate alittle sitting around so when you use it shake for a min and you will be fine
  4. when I heard about this I thought it was a joke, shedding aliitle tear for the cars lost...Atleast no one was around and hurt but dang these are some crazy pics, love the corvette museum
  5. Best of luck Dylan, while I may be new to Adams products you did a great job answering questions and helping new people understand each product. Will be some big shoes to fill and I hope whomever takes over your job will be as active on the forums as you have been.
  6. getting caught in a snowstorm with a rearwheel drive even with snowtires still is not fun...She only looked like this for a few min after I got home.
  7. Merry Christmas to all! Hope everyone has a great week whatever your plans may be!
  8. Nice! I just saw the short vid of this, the Hennessey V did 220 on the toll road this year. I would take both cars in a heartbeat…..but still never get the chance to see their full limits.
  9. The caddy has its winter tires on but I can't seem to bring it out yet this winter, its all shiny in the apt garage…As much as I hate to drive my winter beaters I still can't pull the trigger to bring the V out since the roads are still snow and ice covered…When I do bring it out I make sure to give it a good wash at night to get all the crud off….Im lucky enough to have heated underground parking with a wash area but still swing in the coin op places during the winter to get a high pressure spray on all my cars before following up with a better wash back home
  10. Yup just keep them inside and let them thaw, should be ok, remember to give a good shake…Any issues give CS a call on monday…We just dropped to the negatives here in MN but my shipment was ok yesterday.
  11. This is a new one to me also, having lived in MN most of my life I have dealt with a few winter seasons… My thought has always been to get that salt off as soon as possible, the main concern would be flushing it out of the undercarriage since thats where most will sit for the longest. My 04 caddy while not out every day during winter gets washed every few days all winter with a strong spray underneath, prev owner drove all winter and still no rust underneath… My 97 monte just now started to rust but that may have to do with a bad repaint a few weeks after it was purchased and my mother not taking great care of it, but for a MN car with those issues and 224,000 miles I can't complain……. I don't know all the scientific things about it but from experience I would have to say at the least get to a coin op or whatever and get the underside sprayed down good for a DD at the least once a week if not more if you can.
  12. HAHA thanks guys for all the background and info. Ill have to check out the Microfibers next and see if I can get the finish even better, hopefully the snow here in MN will keep holding out and we will have an easy winter
  13. Thanks Dylan. thats what I was thinking, Ill have to try the microfibers on my next order
  14. OK I have searched but still don't see what would be best… I have a Portercable that I have used the foam pads and 2 step system on my CTS-V, got a lot of the old swirls out but still not 100% happy with the results.(not Adams fault just think I can get the paint a little better looking, I may be polishing wrong) Should I try the Mircrofiber pads to see if those take out the rest? I also have a Saturn and Monte Carlo that i try to keep up. Looking around and with the videos I know every paint is different just not sure how to tell which pad I should use on each car….I will most likely grab a set of Mircofiber pads and try those out. Is there a quick way to tell what paint will work best with each pad other than just testing each?
  15. only a dusting here in Minneapolis but its coming and Im not too happy about it. Ive been putting off getting the winter tires on but from what I hear I may need to do it this weekend, or be upset driving the winter beater for the next few months. I dont like my winter car much and would rather drive my V.
  16. I'll prepay for one in large. Im sure we could atleast get 100 people to prepay for some...50 bucks sounds like a good deal to me
  17. Id be interested in hoodies also, its starting to get alittle chilly in MN
  18. Very nice, the V looks alittle worse then mine, need to get a flex on it before winter hits
  19. Right now I manage a healthcare warehouse delivering medical beds and wound care mattresses. I use to tour manage and drive tour bus for the music industry and was a tech/sales/parts guy for the motorcycle industry....Need to get back into the last two really soon as the healthcare industry is not my thing but for now it is paying the bills and letting me purchase Adam's products for my CTS-V.
  20. I hear yeah, Im just alittle addicted and the wife is getting alittle pissy... But she does like riding in a shiny car
  21. I wish I had a garage to keep stuff in, heated for that matter... In our apt all my product takes up the whole front closet, I have a few bags that I drag down when I need a good clean, keep a detail bag in my trunk stocked at all times
  22. I ordered a few of the sample kits awhile back since I have 3 cars, now once the 4oz are out I use my gallons to refill. hmm but I dont see those available anymore either, I might be missing it but for the price (I think they were around $20) to have a small kit in each car was a great investment.... Now I have worked up to gallons so I just refill the small bottles so no car is out at any time.
  23. Wow that looks amazing, what an awesome car to be able to work on. If I ever win the lotto that would be a car for me
  24. anti-gravity tire rock, if I would have only had those on the motorcycle a few years back maybe it wouldnt still be in pieces now...haha ya live and learn I guess....For a car with 120,000 on it thank god the original owner kept care of it, but its in even better hands now and Im really picky on how it looks.....So Thanks to Adams it will look great for years to come
