  1. I am going to go with 5/16-20. I bought a tap to relocate a handle on one of their other pipe polishing tools. I'm not sure the length, but the size is common to other equipment they manufacture.
  2. Maybe try MP 1 or MP2? I would definitely use some APC and a fender brush on the top to deep clean it before trying MP1 or 2. If I recall, they are a brushed finish. If you want a mirror like finish on it, you may need to wet sand the brushed finish first.

    Labor day sale?

If they were having a sale, I would have thought it would have emailed or made public already.
  4. Add another to the list. My employer requires MSDS on every chemical that enters the building. I have had stuff shipped to work from Adams and I got a warning for shipping stuff without MSDS. So from now on, I paid more to have it shipped home. I had a bottle of detail spray in my tool box, for personal use on said tool-box to keep it clean. When our HR reps went thru our departments and tool boxes looking for chemicals, they noted that a MSDS was not available and asked me to remove it from the building. Now, Adam does state they are available. My employer stated it needed to be easily downloaded from the manufactuer's website. So, I removed it from the building.
  5. Whiteside Manufacturing for a USA made choice. They OEM for snap-on and some of the other big names in professional tools.
  6. Tim, go somewhat basic, but not overboard. If you have gallons, get some no name bottles, that will help reduce cost alot. I suggest Green wheel cleaner and one wheel woolie depending on rims. APC, Shampoo, 1 pad, 2 buckets, 1 grit guard, glass cleaner and 2 glass towels. 1 waterless wash towel for door jambs, and 1 drying towel. You are around the corner from me, If you want some spare towels or need a little product to fill a sprayer, let me know.
  7. Welcome John, Where in Stoney Creek are you located? I lived in the Hamilton area for 15 years.
  8. Welcome Adam, McDuff, Tim, and I are all in Lake County. If you want to give anything a try and you are local to me, I am more than willing to open up the cabinet for any Adams member.
  9. Good to see you FINALLY sign up. Ryan, he is in the Hamilton area.
  10. I made the trip to the museum Saturday morning on my drive home from Dallas. It was quite the experience to walk thru. I really haven't seen pictures of the cars posted online with the exception of what the museum themselves have put out to the public. Does anyone know if we can post pictures of the recovered cars? I have some pictures we took. But don't want to get anyone in trouble for posting them.
  11. Tim, If you want to outright sell a couple lug nut brushes, let me know, I drive thru your city daily.
  12. I'm going to jot this down on the calender and see if I can attend.
  13. Jason, Try walmart. I purchased some clear totes from them yesterday. Steri-lite made in USA. 47qt I think off the top of my head.Bought 6 for my upcoming trip to use in the back of my truck. When I return, they will go in the garage for my supplies.
  14. I plan on driving thru Bowling Green in the next couple weeks. I'm trying to plan my driving time so I can stop by this museum during normal hours. Going to bring a camera and snap some pics.
  15. Seeing as Adams has no stock. Look into Whiteside Manufacturing for a USA made rolling creeper/mechanics/detail seat. They offer both USA made and Chinese made depending on your budget. I have a rebranded Snap-on seat and have had zero issues.
  16. Nick, Doesn't even need to be a "+1" Simply "liking" their response shows agreement. When reading the forum, if a specific comment has a few "likes" I am much more inclined to believe it is good advise. It even shows who liked the post.
  17. Nick, If you guys can work some sort of "subscribe for update" that would be awesome!
