  1. Yeah, proper angle and BAM you have the perfect mirror.
  2. Same! Unless you have a local distributor, shipping is crazy in Canada. I found when I sold stuff on Ebay, I had a hard time making profit. I had to eat some of the shipping cost, because US and other sellers could charge say $2, when I had to pay $15 for shipping.
  3. Beemer takes my vote. I thought it was the most original out of them all (sadly, including my own!!)
  4. The plastic might be a little harder to clean. If it were me, I'd put a claim in for new plastics Easiest route to go.
  5. Hi folks, While browsing the forums today I was redirected to this malicious spam page (see attachment). It only happened once so far but figured I should put it out there in case anything is going on. These little fake security things can be pretty annoying. If anyone hits it on this site, or any other, rapidly hitting OK/Cancel and alt+f4 at the same time is your best bet (for the ones that get stuck in a loop). If anything does download, cancel/delete it right away. Cheers, EDIT: To be clear, it is entirely possible this was injected somehow elsewhere, but it happened while on Adams Forums and has not happened elsewhere for me today. EDIT 2: added picture, my bad Cheers
  6. My "Midnight Blue" needs some lovin'!
  7. Kind of a cheat, because this was yesturday. Testing out the new garage floor with my 2012 Lancer. Sadly, found out my water is pooling in the middle
  8. Can someone post, or PM me our options within Canada for supplies? My current go to is on vacation and I need a couple supplies. I know of a couple, but some of the better places to shop I have found are those hidden gems not widely known yet. Feel free to inbox me who you use or know of. Thanks in advanced.
  9. This is very refreshing, this is how you get things done!
  10. Thank you, Dan, for a swift and thorough response.
  11. Can't help you there, but the point is numerous of us have come here for help and support and have not been answered. This type of (lack of) response makes some steer clear of Adams. I haven't made a purchase for Adams since this due to lack of response around the issue. Like I mentioned, companies support is a key player in who I go with and that has been rocked. The fact that I have been a loyal Adams user for years apparently does not warrant any type of response or explanation. Even my email to Adams went ignored. As a result, my new shop has been fully furnished by other brands and suppliers. There are a couple products I would love to still get from Adams, but just straight out refuse to until Adams can build up that trust again.
  12. The big deal is the lack of response and transparency from Adams. There were numerous issues, some quite serious and Adams seems to have swept it under the rug. This goes against Adams as a whole. Did you miss the part where there was mention of a security issue, and no real other explanation? Does that not bug you? Do you not want to know your data is safe? Trust in a company and customer service is big in my books.
  13. Still no public update about the Canadian Site. What is going on Adams? I thought surely by now everything would be fixed, but went to check out the mystery box just now and pricing is all out of wack, shipping is still out of wack. Nearly 3 months later, still no email or word from Adams. I have had to make a few orders from other suppliers, something I am not fond of due to how much loyalty I had to Adams previous to this whole website mess (let's be honest here, it was a mess how it was handled). Still no official explanation of what kind of security issues you had, no details about previous orders, nothing. If I missed these announcements, my apologies and if someone could kindly link me to them. It really boggles my mind, is Adams playing a prank on us Canadians? Is there a joke I am missing here...
  14. Is it possible the scratches were there, but filled with dirt and claying removed said dirt. The end result is seeing all the hidden scratches.
  15. Don't bite off more than you can chew. Take breaks! Going full tilt for 12 hours is a big mistake. You will hurt for the next few days.
  16. Thanks Dan, It would be great if Adams would step up and be more proactive here. As a Canadian effected by this, I personally feel like Adams has dropped the ball here. Especially when we are hearing about the site being compromised. What was compromised? What data was compromised? Has anything been stolen? The silence around this issue from the Adams team, and how the team is responding to the issues has been quite disturbing.
  17. Not sure what is up with shipping, but there is free shipping at $75 it appears when I try things out. A little transparency would be nice with the new site. Typically an upgrade like this, notifications go out warning users of any potential issues, downtime, etc. A notification afterward of any issues, etc. Being able to browse the US site still, can't find that option either. From an IT perspective, this was and is still being mishandled. Anyone figure out their previous orders? I cannot find my old orders, I had to create a brand new account.
  18. I sprayed my ceramic boost on a microfiber then used the towel on my paint. Mainly due to issues with my sprayer (it was too strong/not strong enough so it hit the paint weird).
  19. yay, updated website! now, how do I switch to adamspolishes.com.... I don't see the option to toggle country.
