  1. Thanks, I'm not trying to make it look new or perfect but just repair it so it doesn't get worse with minimal aesthetic damage... As for replacing or recovering the whole back seat cushion would have to be done since it is a bench type seat & one piece of leather all the way across...
  2. Can someone offer some tips on repairing this tear on my friends leather back seat? Thanks, J
  3. nice ive been wondering how to make SVRT Milk! Thanks!
  4. Thanks all, appreciate the help and hope to get this rubber off my damn hood!!!
  5. Thanks, will order some of that as well... I can use the machine polishing pads via hand for the polish and sealant? Or best just to get a bunch of Microfiber Pads to use with each product? Gonna get the americana applicator with it... Here goes $250+ LOL but the vehcile needs a good polish & wax for sure as it has not been done since we purchased it...
  6. Thanks will order some, need more glass cleaner anyways cause we use a ton of it... Went & got some clay since I didn't bring my Adams clay with me and will it tomorrow with my Adam's Detail Spray... Which wax do you guys like for hand application cause i need it too? Polish then wax or sealant first? Might as well order everything I need in 1 swoop...
  7. Will try clay, do I need a polisher for revive or paint finish polish cause I dont have one... Also, need to get some wax/sealant cause I dont have any of that either...
  8. What about something like Goo Gone? OK on paint? Just thought about it...
  9. Thanks ill go buy some clay tomorrow and try that... If that doesn't work I may look for a detailer up here to knock it off since I know 0 where i live. I'm a about 90 miles east of Nashville, any detailers in the area of Cookeville/Sparta/Crossville TN?
  10. So in the way to TN someone ran over a good sized piece of tire in the road and it flew over the car ahead of me and and hit our hood and windshield leaving quite a bit of black on the hood, the car is white pearl. I got most of it off with the Adams Waterless Wash I brought with me but there is still a couple of spots I cannot get off with it even when using some elbow grease. It doesnt feel "scratched" as it is smooth where the black rubber is. Any tips on getting it off? Or will I have to get someone to polish it out when I get back home? Waterless Wash & Detail Spray are the only paint items I brought with me. Thought about going to Autozone and picking up some clay since I left my Adam's clay at home but wanted opinions first. I can get pics when the rain stops. J
  11. Glad I picked up some of the Silvers... Just shipped some to a friend of mine that has 0 good Microfiber Towels so at least he will have 4 now that should not harm his black paint...
  12. Thanks... Well that is what I did, so guess I didnt screw it up that much...
  13. Thanks, that about right then what I used... Just thought it was going aweful fast but man did it do the job! Well I just watched the video, prob should have first, & applied it completely wrong as I hosed the wheel down with water before I used the deep wheel cleaner... Now I know!
  14. Cool I'll pick some up... The rims on ours have not been cleaned for at least 2 months I know... They were pretty nasty looking... Also gotta get some of those wheel woolies cause there are some tight spaces on the rims by the brake calipers...
  15. I did the same and the Interior of our Optima has stayed darn near spotless... I vaccummed it this past weekend and that was all it needed as the interior still looked good from when I used Leather and Interior Conditioner almost 2 months ago... I did use an attachment to vaccum up some dust/dirt around where the windshield and dash meet plus around the vents, etc... When we get back home I plan on giving everything another good coat, espeically the leather seats, of Leather & Interior Cleaner... I may try some of the Interior Detailer on some of the plastics but I really like the finish of the Leather & Interior Cleaner...
