  1. LOL! My garage is my "man cave." I do keep it clean. And thanks everyone for the positive comments. Marcus
  2. Thanks! Couldn't help myself, did a coat of brilliant glaze on the wheels not only before but now AFTER quick sealant. Simply WOW!!!
  3. Thanks! I have a week to think about it. Here's a pic of what it looked like delivered to me last December:
  4. Hi all, Next weekend I will detail my car (2014 ZL1). I purchased it late last December and only used Car Shampoo, Clay Bar and detail spray, Brilliant Glaze and Americana when brand new. Now, it's several months later and time for a more complete project (daily driver). My plan is to wash, then use Deep Wheel Cleaner to decontaminate the paint, then move on to clay bar, plus 2 step polish, glaze and Americana. I've seen other posts that advise using the DWC in the shade and not let it dry on the paint. Makes sense to me. Can I spray DWC on my wet car (after wash and rinse)? Then wipe off and re-rinse? Any other tips? Thanks! Marcus
  5. I just finished cleaning my wheels (2014 ZL1). I thought I would share my process, feedback always welcome. Installed new center wheel caps with bowtie outlined in red. I did not feel a need to polish the wheels. I usually remove the wheels from the car. First, I used deep wheel cleaner. Very dirty with brake dust. Then a soft brush and car shampoo. Detail spray and blow off the water. Cleaned inside the fender area and applied undercarriage spray to fenders. When wheels are dry, brilliant glaze (wow, this stuff amazes me every time I use it). Finally, quick sealant and super vrt for the tires. Marcus
  6. Thanks everyone for your helpful comments. I guess I simply went to fast.
  7. Hi, Well, I finally had time to do a complete detail on my wife's 2013 2SS Camaro blue ray metallic convertible. We've owned it a year with plenty of "failed" detailing (lol). Lots of light scratches. I am now using pretty much all Adam's products and recently purchased the Cyclo. Washed the car with Adam's car shampoo followed by detail spray and clay bar. Then I used the machine (set for number 6) with foam applicators (and then switched to micro fiber applicators). Polish #1, then polish #2, then Brilliant glaze (all on top of each other). Buffed off the brilliant glaze and hand applied Americana Wax. Results: The car looks fabulous. Everything looks brilliant and perfect. Except, under certain lights and at a certain angle, you can see lots of scratches all over the place. Likely scratches from many previous poor wash jobs before I took over the process. I could ignore the scratches. Unlikely they would be noticed by most anyone. But, they are there. Did I use the Cyclo incorrectly? Is it even possible to remove these "light" scratches? Thanks Marcus
  8. Hello again, I got what I need to remove the wheels. Weather here in Las Vegas is perfect this long three day weekend. The Camaro ZL1 wheels are forged aluminum. I'll clean them with wheel cleaner, then adams car shampoo, dry, apply quick sealant, wait for it to cure, brilliant glaze and finally Americana. Does this sound like a good sequence of products? Thanks Marcus
  9. Hi, I recently purchased a 2014 Camaro ZL1. The car has gorgeous black wheels. I want to keep them looking great. Is it too much for me to take each wheel off the car, let's say once every three months, for wash, wax and sealant? Thanks! Marcus
  10. Thanks everyone. I have applied Americana by hand before and was just curious about using the machine. It is a daily driver. Marcus
  11. Hi, I recently purchased the Cyclo machine polisher. I will be using it for the first time this weekend. My 2013 Blue Ray Metallic paint can really use a good polish to remove very light scratches and swirls. I have all adams products and I plan on using the machine as follows: Machine polish #1 followed by machine polish #2 followed by brilliant glaze. I have foam pads for each of these three products. My question is whether I should use the machine for Americana wax application? Or, do all of you hand wax? thanks! Marcus
  12. Thanks everyone! I've seen other Camaros delivered to the dealer and they are pretty dirty from the trip to Las Vegas. I was curious about what other folks did besides the wash. I have a great relationship with the service department and won't let the wash guy near my current car (from past experience). I will ask them to not wash the new one. I just ordered the Cyclo starter kit to add to my collection of Adam's stuff. Thanks again Marcus
  13. Hi all, Over the past year, I have researched car care products and have become a fan of Adam's polishes. My current car is a 2013 Camaro BRM (Blue Ray Metallic) SS convertible. I am slowly fixing all my earlier trial and error mistakes. My wife is getting the 2013 and I recently ordered a 2014 ZL1 convertible in CRT (Crystal Red Metallic). It has the standard black wheels (being built now and will likely be delivered around Christmas or New Year's). Since I am now an Adams fan, I want to do what's best for my new car. From what I have read, the car will likely need a wash & clay bar. I also ordered the quick sealant for the wheels. Would you polish or go directly to glaze and Americana wax? I have a heated garage. No worries there. After I detail the car, on advice from many Camaro friends, I will have a clear bra put on the front. What would you all do with a brand new vehicle? Thanks! Marcus
  14. Hi all, I've pretty much converted entirely to Adam's products. I own a 2013 Camaro SS Convertible. Several members of the Sin City Camaro Club (SCCC) also use Adam's products so I became a convert. Thanks! Marcus
