  1. Hi Ralfy, Well, it's hard to say. But Adam's and Blackfire were very close. Next was menzerna F400, the SI 1500 didn't do anything for me. I only liked the F400 because it took a scratch on my powdercoated rim using a wolfgang finger pocket. I was thinking about using the other products but I was experimenting. If the results are good, then I'm good. The wolfgang uber is next followed by the total swirl remover. But this is my ranking. It may be different with others because of the type of car and level of foam pad, microfiber pad, etc. I just got tired of all the different combinations and just wanted to narrow it down. I've read that microfiber pads work well, but for me I like the foam. Hope this helps, Alan
  2. Hey Dave, Thanks for the heads up. Yeah, I gotta becareful because I mentioned Adam's products on Autogeek lol. But you and I know different product works for different cars . There are so many variables, hard or soft cc, state, parked outside, inside, etc. I can go on and on. In any case, thanks again for looking out. Alan
  3. Hello Everyone, I have a 2007 M6 Black Saffire color and I've tried a few compounds/polishes to compete with Adam's. This is only my opinion and what has worked for me. Please do not misunderstand, I'm not discounting any other products out there. The following is what I have. Flex 3401 Adam's paint correcting polish and finishing polish Menzerna F400 Menzerna SI 1500 Blackfire SRC compound Blackfire Finishing Polish Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover Wolfgang uber compound Lake Country CCS yellow cutting foam pad Cobra Cross Groove Light cutting pad orange 6.5 in Adam's 6.5 in micro fiber cutting pad Optimum Microfiber cutting pad 6.25 in Without confusing the heck out of myself, I've narrowed down to the CCS Lake country with Blackfire SRC compound and Adam's correcting polish with the CCG light cutting pad. I've used Adam's orange foam cutting pad and it worked fine also. I wanted to try the microfiber pads and both Adam's and Optimum did not work well for me and it was too much of a mess to clean up. Adam's correcting polish is my favorite because it was easier to clean up and got the job done. I didn't have to follow up with the finishing polish. I did use a sealant by Chemical Guys black light hybrid radiant finish. and Ultracoat wax I used the last 2 products only because I didn't want to waste them and finish them up. I have Adams americana which I have yet to try. The Blackfire got the job done as well, and I did use their follow up polish. I can go with either one but the follow up polish takes more work to take off. Adam's products are awesome. Yes, they came up on top of the others. I was kinda skeptical because other forums were mentioning Wolfgang, Meguiars and Pinnacle. I'm sure they're great products, but I think I've spend enough time and money for what I have now that works. Here are some pics of the before and after for my hood. Cheers, Alan
