That looks great! I delete chrome from my vehicles. My M5 had chrome around the kidney grills and chrome exhaust tips. I just Plastidipped both with great results.

I used the shampoo in my electric pressure washer recently and it didn't work well. Keep in mind, I do not have a foam applicator for my pressure washer so I just poured the shampoo (100% shampoo) in the soap dispenser, attached the "soap" nozzle and went to town. There was no foam, just soapy water. What I expected, but tried just to confirm. Home Depot sells a foam attachment for around $18. I haven't picked one up but from a previous thread on here, it looks/sounds like it works very well.

Yes, mine has been hard to open since after the first use. I thought I cross threaded the lid. Can't say that mine didn't get hot though as it is stored in a cabinet in my garage. Can hit 80+ in there during the Summer months. I also recently noticed that the container has bowed out (another sign it got hot???). I am confident it will work just fine when it comes time to use it. We shall see if I can get the container open.

True... I suppose my post sounded a bit harsh on dealerships. Just my personal experience(s) coming out.

Not to be a downer, but I don't trust dealerships. I would question whether they even put the sealant on the car. One those things where they take your $500 and throw some spray wax on real quick to make it look decent.

Nope, just got hot and spewed out. Bottle was full and the sprayer was left in the open position.

Went out yesterday to detail the Yukon and found this in my supply cabinet! (sorry about the crappy cell phone pic) Apparently I forgot to close the spray bottle on my VRT/water bottle. On the plus side, my cabinet shelf is now clean and shiny!

I just bought the rotary. I still have my PC with Adams backing plate and pads. Does the 6" 3M backing plate have a raised piece of plastic in the center of the pad? The local auto parts store had another brand that shall remain nameless and it had a raised disc in the center I guess so the pad of the same brand that shall remain nameless would center.

For those of you with rotary polishers, what do you use for a backing plate? I want to continue to use Adams pads but after talking with Ashley, she didn't think the rotary backing plate they sell will fit my polisher. I need one that fits a 5/8" arbor. 6" 3M backing plate maybe?

I won a HO Phantom Truth slalom ski a few years ago. At the time it was worth about $1000. A few days later I won a Hyperlite wakeskate. That was a good week!

I have to say that I was skeptical about the new wheel brush that Adams has for sale. To be perfectly honest I wasn't sure that the brush would be worth the $34. I am, by all accounts, a cheapa$$.
