  1. I think it would be fine to wax and seal it now without polishing or claying, BUT, the car has to be clean first. I've waxed without claying a couple of times and it was fine, just not sure about the sealents without claying. suppose it the same but the sealant should bond the the bare paint instead of the imbedded crud thats in the clear coat, if you can clay, if not I don't see the harm. But if you don't clay it won't last as long and probably won't bead or do its job as good as it could.
  2. I see, Ok. So I got the fine machine polish and severe swirl remover. I did not get the swirl AND haze remover. just the other 2, fine machine and severe swirl.
  3. OMG, I love these products. I ordered the 36 OZ detail spray, and OMG it is awesome!!!!! I also ordered the jumbo wash pad, severe swirl remover, and machine finishing polish. Loved the mints, I know there just mints but it shows that the company cares and that they are just awesome. Also, will the fine machine polish take out the marks from the severe swirl remover? Thanks, and I'm pretty sure Adams has ruined me, I don't think I will be using any other car detailing products… P.S. The detail spray smells awesome!
  4. I knew it said it in the description. Just wanted to make sure, I'm OCD.
  5. http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-1009-on-sale-adams-detail-spray-36oz-bottle.aspx Hey guys just wanted to check that this was the new formula, is it on sale because it is the 36 OZ size and no the regular 16 oz. And sorry if I am in the wrong section!
  6. I've heard people say that the detail spray smells flipping amazing, can't wait till saturday when it gets here!
  7. Yeah I agree, I was going to buy the shampoo but decided not to for some reason. I also blow dry my car with a $30 leaf blower from sears so that helps a lot with keeping swirls out!
  8. Yeah I am using it as a DD and I am striving for perfection for as long as I can, I'll post pics when I get home...
  9. Good news! They came off! Thank the Lord, so glad my 20 hours of labor didn't go to waste! I would not have been a happy camper lol. There were a few tiny ones but that is expected. After a full wash I blow dried the car and then put a fresh layer of carnuba wax on top because I wanted to keep the protection after the marathon it just ran of protecting my O so important paint since monday of last week. Thanks for all the help guys!
  10. Sounds good to me! Anything you guys suggest I should buy for my next order? And when will the single softs be back?
  11. Hey guys I have been stalking these forums and other forums and I have been craving some Adams products but I saw a lot of awesome reviews. I ordered a few things because of the cyber monday sale so I can try them out and I bought the 36 oz detail spray, thats the new formula right? a 11 x 11 wash pad which will replace my crappy auto zone one, severe swirl and haze remover, and the finishing polish which I gt for like 7 bucks each! I was going to order 4 single soft towels but there were out of stock. Any idea when they'll be back? Anyways, can not wait! I want to see what the products can do!
  12. Lol, in the daytona area, frequent ponce inlet. Not too far away from the beaches really.
  13. Awesome! You don't know how happy I am to hear that, I spent upwards of 20 hours of paint correction because my dealership washed it, I would hate for those hours to go to waste, anyways you put my mind at ease. I will be able to sleep easy tonight. Thanks!
  14. I use a modified electric leaf blower that costs $30 bucks at sears.
  15. Well when I went to park it the other day so I could get it out of the way I rubbed one of the water spots with my finger and it came off and kind of smeared around. YES, i know I couldn't help myself. I had to see if it would come of easily but that is the best I can describe it.
  16. Hey guys I recently did a full paint correction on my camaro and I sealed and put 2 coats of wax on it. The paint was perfect! But, I had to leave it outside and it got water spots on it from rain and possibly from the sprinklers on the drivers side door, but I am not sure about the sprinklers. Anyways it had some pretty big water spots on it because the camaro has 2 pooling spots on the hoods as I like to say, everything else beaded up wonderfully except for those spots. Anyways if you guys don't know Florida has has some pretty hard water. Also, the water spots have been on the paint since sunday or monday of last week. I WILL be washing it tomorrow and be putting on a fresh coat of wax tomorrow. My question is, was all my paint correction for nothing? Will there be tons and tons of water spots?
  17. You could Also try a steam machine and the tip of it wrapped with 2 utility microfiber towels, but don't stop moving, it should be relatively safe, and the steam kills bacteria, then hit it with an O-zone machine.
  18. Awesome! I didn't know they were having a sale for cyber monday here!
  19. Thanks! Ok, sounds good to me! Whats the difference between the two? One side is soft and the other isn't while the double soft is on both sides?
