  1. Got the wipers on, and they appear to have solved the issue. I won't know for sure until it rains, but I'm pretty sure it's good now. Thanks for the help!
  2. Thanks! I just picked some up. I'll have to install them tomorrow because I can't see a thing outside right now... Thanks for the help!
  3. It's worth a shot. I'll try to grab some tomorrow evening and see what happens.
  4. I'm thinking this is the way to go. However, when shopping the Bosch site, it only shows the OE Specialty Aero Twin as the direct fit for my truck. Do you think the '16 and '17 are actually different in that respect?
  5. I cleaned them really thoroughly today with the wiper fluid. I really don't think that the wipers being dirty are the root of the problem, at this point.
  6. Update: I went home between my two jobs to wash the windshield (with Adam's Car Shampoo) and to clean the blades with wiper fluid. At first, it seemed like that solved it, but as I drove to work in the rain, it didn't seem to help at all. They're still chattering. But here's the strange part - If I run the wipers with the truck's wiper fluid, there's no chatter whatsoever. And there's very little chatter if I keep the intermittent setting set to super slow, because the windshield is completely covered in rain at that point. So should I get new wipers? I don't understand any of this, because the wipers worked before I cleaned and sealed the windshield, when it was covered in obvious contamination. And for what it's worth, it definitely looks noticeably cleaner and clearer, now. I've got to do something because the chatter is driving me freakin' bonkers. Thanks for the help, guys.
  7. Okay, I'll give that a shot. Thank you, and everybody else for the help!
  8. So just to clarify, I need to seal the glass again today? Clay bar, or no clay bar this time?
  9. I'll try to clean the wipers after work. Would anybody recommend throwing some wax on the windshield, or maybe some detail spray?
  10. I definitely applied it correctly, just as I have in the past. The only different variable was the Mother's clay bar, but I can't see that being an issue.
  11. Thanks for the reply! I let it sit the average amount. I was under the impression that it didn't have a curing time, though(?). I might have to do exactly what you said if nobody else has any ideas. Thank you again for the input.
  12. I have a brand new, 2017 Silverado, and I noticed right away that all the glass had some contamination from the transport truck, which isn't abnormal. So, this weekend, I finally had some time to go out and take care of it. I used a Mother's clay bar [i was out of my Adam's bar] with my Adam's glass cleaner, and got all the funk off. Then, I sealed the window with my Adam's glass sealant, and then finished the job with the Adam's glass cleaner, again. I used the appropriate Adam's applicator pad and window cleaning towel for the job. I've done this job quite a few times on my own vehicles, and for a couple of friends and have never had a problem. But today on my way to work, it was raining, so I had to use my wipers. They started chattering like crazy! They were not doing that before I cleaned and treated my windshield, so I have no idea what I could have done wrong. Again, I'm not a total noob at this job, as I've done it several times with great success. Does anybody have any tips on something I can try to get the chatter to go away? As I mentioned earlier, the truck is brand new, only 800 miles on it now, so the wipers don't need to be replaced or anything like that. Thanks for the help! You guys always have the right answers...
  13. Thanks, guys. It already has safety cables, which is what saved my car, I guess. I do have a further problem now, though. The tech came to examine the door, and it's the spring (and cables) that are broken. As a result, he could only shut the door for me until Monday when he will be back with the parts. Therefore, I can't get my car out of the garage until Monday night. Is there anything I can do in the meantime? I have a full bottle of waterless wash, a gallon of detail spray, and just about everything else, but I can't get the hose in the garage to wash it off. I'm concerned that leaving those metal fragments on the car for that long might damage my finish. I've worked so hard at keeping it perfect, I'd be really upset if this ended up causing permanent damage. Thanks in advance.
  14. Thanks for the replies, guys. I actually tried blowing them off, but they're so tiny, they just kind of sit there when I put the blower on them. The metal fragments are so small, it's almost like metal "dust". It's sort of hard to explain, really. I'm going to rinse them tonight after the door gets fixed and hopefully that will work out alright. Thanks again for the replies.
  15. Tonight, I hit my garage door opener to get inside, and I heard the dreaded sound of my garage door getting off track, and it stopped raising (turns out the cables are broken). My Camaro was inside, as usual, and when I went to examine it to make sure nothing damaged it during the garage door fiasco, I noticed that there are tiny metal shavings on the trunk and roof. I guess it's from the cable snapping above it. I'm assuming the best way to get that off with no damage is to let the water hose lightly rinse them off (meaning I shouldn't use my sprayer or any water pressure), and then a full wash? My car is properly waxed, so I'm not overly concerned about the shavings damaging the finish as long as I remove them correctly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  16. The Leather Cleaner and Conditioner did the trick. It took some scrubbing, but it appears to be gone. I'll check it again tomorrow to make sure it all went away. I found a bunch of it on the back triangle windows, too. Thanks a million to everyone for their help. I was definitely freaking out there for a little while...
  17. Alright, I'll give it a try here in just a bit. Thanks for the help, guys!
  18. I do have the Leather Cleaner and Conditioner. You think that will work better than the Car Shampoo?
  19. Dang. I don't have any of those. I contacted the guy that did the work, and he said soap would get it out. Should I just get my Adam's Car Shampoo and scrub it out?
  20. Just tried the Interior Detailer. Apparently it's baby shampoo and water. Doesn't seem like that would leave a stain like that, but it definitely did.
  21. Here's a pic. Sorry, I forgot to attach it on the original post.
  22. Hey, guys. I just had window tint installed on my Camaro SS. There's a bunch of drip marks on my door panels from the lubrication that they used, and my Adam's Total Interior Detailer doesn't affect it at all. How can I remove this? My interior (and exterior) are pretty much flawless, so having these marks on the door panel is driving me nuts! This literally just happened, so I'm trying to find a fix for it as soon as possible. Thanks for the help!
  23. H20 Guard and then Buttery Wax. Got it! Thanks so much for the help!
