  1. All these black vehicles have me inspired. Once I get mine done I'll throw it on here too. Ordering stuff for my car here very soon!
  2. I just wanted to jump in here and say nice jobs on those cars. The black on both of your cars looks phenomenal.
  3. Thanks. I just went through all of it and even the pads were bad. Falling apart sadly. Kind of mad and sad at the same time! Will any of the current four inch pads work with the cyclo? Cyclo works perfectly fine at least! I don't plan on buying a rupes right now either. Especially since I need to restock a little bit. Almost like I'm starting over. I'll go through the learn area too. I like the new website. Forgot to add that the car has had basically been through the car wash. I'd say about two years of neglect on the thing. Definitely needs a good clay.
  4. Hello all! Been a long time for me since I've been around. Life, moving, changing work locations, kids. Its been a long time. Currently my car is starting to show swirl marks. Also has some nice dents from my son opening my wife's car into the rear quarter panel of my car in the garage! Those will just be battle wounds! I'm looking into getting back into detailing my car but I see Adam's has so much different stuff. I still have a cyclo and some old pads with a lot of chemicals that I haven't used recently. They are rather old at this point. I'm curious with the pads and chemicals being so old, if they would still work. Also curious what pads and stuff I should get now to use with the Cyclo. The chemicals have been in some heat and cold air since I've gotten them but have been in a closed bottle. Been stored in my garage. Thanks for the help in advance. Miss you guys!
  5. Planning on going again this year! Will be my third time. Its always a good time. I saw you're not going. I guess where you are going is probably more relaxing!
  6. This is good to know. I didn't even think to remove them! This would have made it easier!
  7. I think it was about 3 weeks ago we got hit. I think more is suppose to come our way on Wednesday too. Not 6+ I don't think anyways.
  8. Since the weather was nice here in PA and I finally had some time on my hands, I finally did a complete exterior detail. I basically washed the car, clayed it, washed it again, dried it, put VRT on, corrected it, finished it, sealed, glazed, and waxed it. I also put tire shine on, undercarriage spray, and then used glass cleaner and sealant on the windows. It turned out really well but not perfect. I noticed some scratches still which is to be expected. I did notice some holograms on the hood which I don't know where they came from. I did hit a deer awhile ago and they replaced the hood and painted it, so I don't know if that's where it came from because the hood wasn't done to well and I was not to happy. Anyways, here is some pictures: Just to finish off, I will say I learned a lot from doing this myself. Glad I used VRT, that's a savior for plastics! Also, tape off the crevices! Makes life easier! Was a fun time. Took me a day and a half and 17,000 steps as per my tracker! Was exhausting yet rewarding!
  9. Was wondering why mine hadn't shipped yet! Nice picture! I'll be waiting patiently as I'm not off work until next weekend when I hope it will be here by then!
  10. Haha. Adams humor with the sandpaper makes all cringe. Glad to put a face to the name too!
  11. Just wanted to say thank you to Grabiaks and the Adams team for the dinner and clinic. I had a good time again along with my wife. Was also nice to see the good amount of people that showed up. Plus I'm proud to be a new owner of the cyclo! Also, keep an eye out for more paint correction items. Adams got to scare my wife and I with removing some deep scratches on my dirty car!
  12. I haven't been on SR22 in awhile but it seemed like there was always construction on it when I used to travel on it.
  13. Picked up the WD4070 with the pro hose. Cleaned well. Might need some extensions for some stubborn hair in my car. The blower was pretty clean to for testing it after vacuuming.
  14. I saw your earlier post and it's definitely a good deal. Plus I have several gift cards for home Depot lol
  15. Sorry to dig up an old post (not really that old) but I'm currently looking for a vacuum for cleaning the car out and was wondering which 4 gallon to get. I do like the toolbox one but was wondering if anyone had any experience with it or know of better! I'm looking for drying my car too and seems everyone loves the master blaster but I don't have the funds for that right now!
  16. My wife and I will most likely being attending this year again. Hopefully we can stay longer this time for the dinner and my wife doesn't start to get a random headache! Was a good time last year!
  17. Seems everyone is liking the new wheel woolies. I just placed order for the whole tire kit the other day along with some other stuff. Won't be able to try it all out until I get home from vacation!
  18. I couldn't agree more. Between the events, the customer service, the timely responses, and the professionalism, Its a rare thing to find with any business anymore. They are so connected with their customers its fantastic.
  19. Just wanted to share my positive experience with Adam's. Back around February I ordered the details essentials kit. When I had ordered, a lot of the items were on back order so it didn't ship until March which is understandable. Well, Adam's got me the full kit and I was excited when I got it as its the first thing I had ever bought. Well just over a couple days ago I get an email stating that Adam's had shipped a product. I was confused as I didn't order anything and thought it was a mess up on their end. Well, a couple days after I recieve the email I'm cleaning my motorcycle and the Fed Ex truck pulls up. I again was conufsed and blamed my wife for buying something behind my back! I then saw the Adam's tape on the box. I was like I didn't order anything but I'll check it out. I then opened up the box and it was basically another essentials kit. I didn't know if it was by accident or not so I emailed Adam's about it. This was the response I got: "Wow, thank you Patrick, and our peeps are a little off, apparently! We’ll get this sorted out, and I apologize for the hassle. Indeed, we have had a rough go of a new inventory system, which has made for many shipping delays. Keep the kit, and thank you for your kindness!" Just for the hassle of the first kit being delayed it was made up with a second kit which I never really expected in the first place. To top it off, I got american made mints which were fantastic! So thumbs up to Adam's! I'm definitely a new customer for life because their customer service can't be matched!
  20. Went to the clinic at Grabiak's this past weekend. They demonstrated the Cyclo and it was so easy. Just keep it flat and tilt it slightly so there is no gap between the two pads when going back and forth. The videos should be enough to learn how to do it. It is fairly easy and the results are great! Another simple thing they pointed out was to make sure to keep the cable over your shoulder so its not hitting the car.
  21. Okay thank you! Yeah all at once is easier for me. Keeps me from walking back and forth! lol
  22. Just to clarify what I did. I washed car and then clayed it. I then used the blue Adam's Revive Hand Polish on a couple panels then would work it in and then wipe it off. Then on the same panels I would then put on Adam's Brilliant Glaze and then wipe it off. I then took the buttery wax and did the same thing. This all done in my garage so I wasn't in the sun. From what I'm reading, I can apply the revive to the whole car then wipe off. Then put on the glaze to the whole car then wipe it off. Then apply the buttery wax to the whole car and then wipe it off. Sorry, just trying to get it straight in my head! Thanks for the quick responses!
  23. Just wanted clarification on how much to use and how to apply it. When I did it, I did circular motions getting a nice thin layer on a panel at a time. I started with polish by putting it on and then would wipe it off. I would then do the same process for the glaze and then the wax. From what I saw, I could do straight lines up and then across with the polish (Revive Hand Polish), then apply the glaze over that and then wipe them off together. Then after that, apply the buttery wax. Just wanted to get your opinions on how to do it so I'm doing it right. Thanks ahead of time.
