  1. It was a full house in the Adams tent today. I purchased the last gallon of waterless wash in the early afternoon.
  2. Try some Brilliant glaze after finishing polish, it definitely adds something to the paint.
  3. I'm a big fan of metal polish 1 and 2 but there may be better options for the boat. The people who polish airplanes and wind stream campers use mostly cyclos with nuvite or similar diminishing abrasive polishes.
  4. I plan to be there. Probably my favorite show of the year.
  5. I will be trying one of these with my next order. Any plans to offer a smaller version?
  6. Looks like Adams will soon be offering a new drying towel!
  7. Great cars and great garage!
  8. I have all 3 waxes. For your intended use, I would probably go with the buttery or Americana. I think the Patriot is slightly deeper and glossier than Americana but for a daily driven vehicle I'm not sure I could justify the price difference. Buttery is super easy to apply and remove and also leaves an outstanding shine. It just doesn't offer much durability.
  9. I would have to agree, just started using the new Patriot and it is outstanding. Any pictures of the 33?

    New Patriot

Purchased some new Patriot at Carlisle today. Anxious to try it on something black.
  11. Those larger spots look like the lacquer is "checking". Not much you can do about it.
  12. I use very little detail spray since I started using waterless wash. I like the way it spreads and removes especially when using the waterless Towels.
  13. i I just used one of these for the first time today. It is by far the best drying towel I have ever used. I know we're not supposed to discuss competitors products but Adams needs a towel like this.
  14. Camarodude are you using the new Patriot or the older version?
  15. I don't store the applicator in the can, but the red applicator is the perfect size to get the wax from the can. I thought the hex grips were larger than the can itself but I guess I was mistaken. I will order those with my next order.
  16. Which wax applicator fits in the new Americana container? I have the red one that came with the wax but would like to purchase extras if available.
  17. I used a lot of that back in the day. I remember buying 10 bottles at a time when it was on sale.
  18. Was this to remove orange peel or a scratch? What was your process?
  19. These are from last year, too hard to take decent pictures inside the garage.
  20. Getting my car ready for motorama in Harrisburg PA this coming weekend. Started with a quick polish using finishing polish on a white foam pad. Next I applied a coat of Brilliant glaze, then I finished with the old version of Patriot. Now onto the wheels (metal polish 2).
  21. I think you would be more pleased with the results if you would invest in a polisher and do some paint correction. Even a cheaper porter cable can do some decent correction with the right pads and polishes.
  22. I like the liquid paint sealant. I apply it about twice a year to my to my wife's vehicle and my daily driver. I also use guard and gloss every few washes on both vehicles. I don't want to say it will last X amount of months because that will vary greatly depending on where you live, how often the vehicle is washed, and whether or not it is garaged. If protection and durability are your main objective, the coatings seem to be the way to go. I have no experience with Adams coating but will be trying it in the future.
