  1. Thanks for the comparison pic Chris. I still prefer the looks of the leather conditioner, however I can see how the new matte dressing would be a good option. Specially on leather seats.
  2. I use waterless almost exclusively to help remove bugs from the front of the cars before washing. It makes them come off a whole lot easier and I avoid getting too many bugs on my wash mitt.
  3. I usually use grey utility towels and the cockpit brush for my interior. It does take some scrubbing to get out the deeper stains, but you dont have to press hard.
  4. another vote for the sealant option. You can always layer americana and brilliant glaze on top of that later, but the sealant will protect you the longest.
  5. Welcome to the forum! For the vette, you can try using revive hand polish and a blue applicator pad to try and remove the buffer trail, but its going to require a lot of elbow grease and even though im not sure if itll get the whole thing out depending on how bad it is right now. As for the F150, now is actually a good time to do a full paint correction on it, but if you dont want to use a DA, just go straight to a clay bar and paint sealant. You can then add wax if you want, but the sealant will provide most of the protection you need without using a ceramic coat. Some people will say skip the clay bar if its not needed, but I find the sealant lasts a whole lot longer if the car is clayed. As for the maintenance, I really like H2O guard n gloss. It also adds sealant to your finish and a lot of shine. For a truck, I always recommend invisible undercarriage spray as it makes a huge difference on lifted cars.
  6. Now you have me wondering about the pet hair stone. I use a shop vac to vacuum it out after spraying it down with some carpet cleaner. But i constantly have to go back and use an interior brush to help loosen some hair out and its just a hassle. Is the stone more efficient than vacuuming?
  7. Even though admin isnt responsible for any trades that go on in the forum, ive seen them step up and take care of any thing that can go wrong in here. Its amazing how far their customer service extends.
  8. Im curious about this too. Im probably going to buy a bottle of the new eco wheel cleaner this weekend just to try it out
  9. I like using carpet and upholstery cleaner on cloth interiors and interior detailer on any plastic/leather/vinyl trim. If you need something stronger for stains, i use interior cleaner. But since its a new car, I doubt youll be needing that anytime soon. I also recommend leather conditioner on the dashboard. Itll leave it looking a bit shiny and keep it from collecting as much dust. Plus it has UV protection in case you live in a really sunny area.

I dont know if this is the right place for this but what do you guys think of char broil gas grills? I currently have a small weber charcoal grill, but I dont use it as often as I used to, and Ive been wanting to get a simple gas one for the backyard. Theres one on lowes for 150 and dont want to cough up the dough for another weber.
  12. I really enjoy videos where people wash or restore random vehicles. Maybe go to a customers house and record the process of how you clean/repair that particular vehicle. Maybe a truck that just got back from offroading, or how to clean a wrapped car, etc...That way we can see how well the products work with abused vehicles and it shows different an creative ways to use your products.
  13. Buttery still up for trades
  14. I do sealant, wax, then glaze. My theory is the item that lasts the longest first, but i havent really noticed a difference.
  15. Cool, ill try that mixture once this one runs out. I thought it was the pressure that was causing the stream too, but It did the same even after pumping it again a few times. Ill keep trying to figure that one out. It came with a few tips but not for the nozzle. They go under the spray head but i havent tried them out yet.
  16. Wheel cleaner gone. Buttery wax pending
  17. Nice review. Now i regret not buying the wheel mitt while the sale was on lol. Im sure ill be placing an order real soon.
  18. Thats a god idea. I have a few spare bottles, so ill pour everything out and label them.
  19. Would you say it replaces the wheel brush? I like how the brush works but every once in a while i keep bumping the wheel with the handle.
  20. So I just received my Foam Sprayer yesterday and got a chance to try it out today. I bought it for the sole purpose of cleaning my wheels with it, so i was kinda skeptical about how it would work because most info I found was based on using shampoo with it. So anyway, I was really surprised at how well it worked with Tire n Rubber cleaner. It foamed up just like a shampoo would, and stayed on long enough to see dirt falling off without having to scrub. At first, I poured 8 ounces into the sprayer and didnt dilute it at all. I figured if it doesnt work, at least I can still use whats left. After pumping it and seeing a thick dense foam stream shoot out, I then added another 8 ounces of water, so its a rough 1:1 dilution. I know its still a lot of chemical for what I need so eventually ill play around with dilution ratios. Heres a picture of how it foamed up: The dirt falling off after just sitting there: Keep in mind, this car had been washed about 2 weeks ago, and had not been driven since. It just sat there getting dusty for 2 weeks so it wasnt as dirty as a driven car. I do have a few question, for those of you who have used it with Tire n Rubber cleaner before, how much did you dilute it? Any tips on how much water to add? Also, I noticed that on the last wheel, the foam wasnt spraying in a line anymore, it started shooting a stream of foam. Anyone know why this happened? And lastly, it says that the sprayer should be cleaned after every use, however, would it be safe to just clean the nozzle and leave the liquid inside? Id hate to waste the leftover every time I use it. Overall Im very happy with the results and Ill probably end up getting a second one for the wheel cleaner soon. Hopefully this will also help save product since I usually waste about half a bottle of tire n rubber cleaner when washing all 3 cars.
  21. I use borderless for sprays and double softs for polishes and removing wax.
  22. Looking good man, that lotus looks amazing. Keep it up!
  23. Wheel cleaner back up for trade.
  24. I built something like this on my garage. I have a bunch of tools and I split the left side for all my cleaning supplies and gallon refills, and the right side has all my tools and stuff. On the bottom i still have room for my shop vac, lawn mower, table saw, car jack, etc...
