I have a Cycle and Rupes mini, for the same reasons as pirahnah3. If you think about it, a Cyclo is a big throw polisher. It has a contact surface of roughly 8”. A 21mm polisher is roughly 8” also. I use my mini for the tighter areas and spot correcting.

I have 3 USED blue glass cleaning towels for almost FREE, you pay for shipping. I'm guessing $5 bucks will cover the shipping cost. Just PM me I'm getting rid of used or unwanted Adams products. I'm working on cutting out the middle man. -
Pressure Waher Questions
USCGRetiredJosh replied to galaxy's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I have a sunjoe xp3000 electric pressure washer and I'm happy with my results. From what I have seen and read, a gas pressure will give you a more thick foam on the vehicle. This is because of the higher PSi. An electric one works just as well and makes good foam. I have a $20 snow lance foam cannon from amazon, it looks just like MTM foam cannons. I put an Adams sticker on the bottle and now I have my own Adams foam cannon. Plus follow the recommended soap to water mixing ration. I have a gallon jug of premixed soap and water. 26oz soap to rest water. -
I wash talking to someone and they mentioned that car wash soaps have different solids ratio. There explanation wasn't clear. Does anyone have any amplifying information on this?

GMC textured plastic wax residue
USCGRetiredJosh replied to Laid GP's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I use all purpose cleaner or 409 and scrub with a finger nail brush. I spray the brush so I lessen the chance of wax removal on painted surfaces. Wipe dry with a towel. -

Given Up on Glass Cleaning Towels
USCGRetiredJosh replied to scottkalbfeld's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I thought I had the same problem with the towels. I tried everything, that has been suggested before. What fixed it for me was to switch to a different brand of glass cleaner. I don't have streaks on any of my windows now. To Adam's, I'm sorry but your glass cleaner doesn't work for me. -
I have twitter now....how exciting!!! I might get Facebook again. I deleted it when I got divorced 5 years ago. I bet nothing has changed. I'm already on instagram.

I have played all the games on my phone, so many times it's not fun any more. Haven't found a new game I like. There's no free wifi at work, so I don't want to use up all my data. I think will have to download some movies before I leave for work. I think I'm getting an Adams gift card for my bday or xmas, so I'm waiting on buying a few things from Adams. Xmas shopping for the wife is done. Just have to finish shopping for the 16yr old boy, which will happen this weekend.

I don't think Rolltide will work as a promo code.

Adams needs better holiday discounts!!
USCGRetiredJosh replied to hemi1300's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I'm not trying to stir the pot on anything. I started with Adams products about 2 years ago and that's the only big boy chemicals I've used. I have been thinking about looking at other options but I like the info and service that is provided. Are there a couple of Adams products I won't use, yes, but those are my opinions. Let's not beat a dead horse on this anymore -
