Couldn't agree more! I have a competitors coating applied to my Silverado which costs $99.00 for a 20 cc syringe of product. It only comes with a small foam applicator you still have to cough up money for the prep, towels and booster..... By the time you add all that up you'll easily exceed the cost of the Adams kit (and that's before the stand 10% Adams discount). This is a new venture for Adam's and their customers, so they clearly decided to sell a kit that is well equipped so that the end user will have positive results and won't be set up for failure due to skimping out and not buying all the right products/equipment. I look forward to applying this kit to my wife's vehicle.

Damn Chris, I'm glad you're alright. It's pretty scary stuff.... I'm 38 and I have the "can't happened to me" mentality like most people, but we tend to forget that even though our minds feel young, our bodies are not. I have a friend who's 33 years old and she just had a stroke 3 weeks ago, fortunately her husband noticed it quickly and she got throbolytics given to her within 3 hours and she suffered no deficits.

I'm not gonna lie, I may have had a coating recently applied to my new black Silverado. It has put me in a bit of a cunundrum as I was really intrigued with them, but I really felt like I was cheating on Adams.

Man, I'd like nothing more than to put a pair of AMP Research steps on this thing, but two things are holding me back.....cost and Northeast winters.

That looks like more than a 2" level in your sig pic. As far as Adams goes, start with some car shampoo, clay bar with detail spray and a coat of paint sealant......that's a good financial ease into the world of Adams. If you have or buy a polisher, do some paint correction followed by paint finishing polish topped of with paint sealant. Put some VRT on you tires and trim also.

Immediate mods will include Llumar paint protection film on the front end and a 2" front level......I'd like to go with a 4" lift, but then I'd have garage clearance issues and I have no desire to park outside particularly during the Northeast winters. I had put the RC 2.5 level in my previous truck but the ride was horrendous, so I dropped back down to the 2". I wasn't planning getting side steps, but my 5ft tall wife is overriding that decision, so now I'm debating on what style to get. Eventually I'll put some Toyo Open Country 33" tires on.

I think I can tolerate the fact that it will show more dirt, I'm more concerned with keeping the scratches off of it. I'm going to do some paint correction on it tomorrow to remove the dealer installed scratches and follow it up with some sealant. I'm also strongly starting to consider a coating, but it's a struggle to even consider any deviation from Adams.

I've owned nothing but GM trucks all my life and I think there is a some truth to this statement with the last two body styles. It seems like the interior options (or creature comforts as I like to call them) are less prevalent in a Chevy LT compared to a GMC SLE, but as far as quality they seem to be the same since they're both built in the same factory (crew cabs are built in Mexico, regular cabs and double cabs are built in the US). The MSRP on the Silverado was four grand more than my Sierra, but the dealer was able to take 20% off MSRP which was a much better discount than when I bought my Sierra.

Honestly, I would have never considered buying a black vehicle before I discovered the world of Adams and upped my detailing game. I know it will require due diligence on my behalf to keep it maintained.

Absolutely.....I had put a rough country 2" level on the Sierra, but I'm debating on going with Bilstien 5100 ride height adjustable front struts this time. The only issue I have with th Bilstiens is that you can only get a total of 1.85" of lift.

So I went ahead and pulled the trigger and I traded my 2015 GMC Sierra All Terrain edition for a 2016 Chevy Silverado Midnight edition. The deal was too good to pass and I ended up paying less for the Silverado LTZ than I did for the Sierra SLE.
