Chops1sc, yes sir, that simple white screw on funnel makes it much better. Now with that and the yellow on/off gallon jug spout I found, it makes pouring W&T cleaner simple and mess free. I used another of these spouts to top off my Total Interior cleaner. Another thin product. It worked perfectly as well!

I use the screw-on funnels as well. Just take your time and perfect practice makes perfect!

My preference kinda comes and goes. I like shiny tires sometimes. I also like plain, clean tires (usually when I'm too lazy to add the dressing 🤣).

    Looks great!

Look for a tool rental place near you and they should have scaffolding for rent. Then you would just work your way down the roof. That is how I would attempt it.

Washed the wife's Trax yesterday! Started by cleaning the wheels & tires with Adam's Wheel & Tire Cleaner. Then I put 4 plush MF towels in a bucket with warm water and Adam's Wash n Wax. Used a foam gun with Wash n Wax to pre-soak each panel before washing. I then gently washed the Mosaic Black Metallic paint, flipping the towel for each section to avoid as many swirls as possible. Used CS3 as a drying aid paired with a Jumbo Plush drying towel.

I still need to do a full detail but I really need more daylight and warmer temps, LOL!

About 2 years ago my work had a demo done in our facility to show off the dry ice cleaning. At the time is was very new and required industrial air supply to make the machine work. It was fun to watch and definitely got the job done. Now there are consumer-grade machines that will run on a regular air compressor. The next step would be to find a supplier of quality, ground up dry ice.

@chops1sc  You do have a garage less than 2 hours away if you want to use it.   As @falcaineer stated the key is keeping the weather off it for the most of the day.  If you have a canopy, you can put the vehicle under it to protect it from the sun, dew, rain or whatever else might fall in the SC.   I used the canopy model a few times for larger vehicles and it was all about picking a light wind day with a near zero chance of rain.

You are also welcome to head to my place and we can do the polishing and coating together if you'd like to do that.

Hi Chris, just a reminder that pollen season is only two months away and I know Sumter gets the pollen just as bad as the Lexington side of Columbia.

I know that every tire has a personality. Not every cleaner nor every dressing works the same on every tire.  Rubber composition and such makes a difference. BUT…there is nothing on this tire but Tire & Rubber Cleaner.  Zero tire shine nor other product. I don’t think the picture captures it, but it’s amazing. Nothing else but T&RC, and it’s perfect.  No slinging, no grime sticking to it, the perfect sheen…I’m done.  No other product needed…thanks for applying.

I feel for you. My Black SS is my punishment, curse and joy.

Moments later that same day it got covered in harvest dust from the local fields. 😢 it was clean for the picture, oh well.
My next vehicle will be silver, white or light grey. Black? Never again!

Congratulations on your new ride and “crippling anxiety.”

I’ve already given him his first bath. I used a mixture of Ultra Foam and Wash & Wax with some microfiber cloths. I dried it off with CS3 as a drying aid. When I get more time I’ll do a full detail.

I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with the Foam Cannon Premium today and it was fun.   The camper that I washed today is a 36 foot Flagstaff with three slide outs.

I have found that Wash & Wax does a good job on the campers and other large surface area items, such as vinyl fences and metal buildings.    I use a soft brush on the end of the 12' pole and while the brush I have is probably 15 years old, it looks just like the Adam's Truck Brush, which should last you a lifetime if you get one.  When doing taller objects I also use a 24" extension on the Snub Nose so I don't have to get on a ladder to reach the higher areas.

Just like a vehicle, I do the tires and wheels first and then start with the foam cannon doing one side at a time.  Because of the total surface area and using a brush on a pole, there is little doubt that you'll miss some spots, so I always plan on doing each side twice.   If you have the run marks that most campers get on them from the roof, awning run off or just going too long between washes, you may find some places that you still need to use Camper Black Streak Remover.  I have not found a Adam's product to substitute for this specialized product, so please let me know if there is one that you've found.

For the rinse after using the brush, I've found that the Fire Host Nozzle using a wide pattern works well.  It also prevents hitting the edges around the slide outs will to much pressure and getting any water inside.   On a camper this size, if you are doing it on a sunny day, you may need to do smaller sections, today was beautiful day, overcast and in the low 70's, so it was perfect for working outside.

While Wash & Wax does not lay day the volume foam that get with some of the other shampoo's, it does cover well and sticks pretty good.    Here are a couple from each side with the first coating of Wash & Wax from the Foam Cannon Premium.

Not off topic at all. In fact, you nailed it as to why I started this thread in the first place. I’ve enjoyed my ceramic and you absolutely cannot beat the care, but it has never “wow’d” me like some other products over the years in the looks department.  I have however had different/better luck with spray coatings vs the tiny little bottle.  Guess I’m looking for what’s next.

And FWIW, nothing to do with my cars is a waste of time nor money, LOL.  It’s all just the next adventure or project.

This might be slightly off topic, but I think ceramic coatings were created for longevity and not looks. We spend all our time babying our rides and waxing (or sealing) is part of that process. IMO, if you have a ceramic coated car, you are wasting time and money by trying to add to the look. This is one reason why I have not ventured into ceramic coating.

Put me in the "wax looks best" camp. 😁
