  1. Thanks for the help. I am sure I will have some more questions when I get started!!! Thanks again!!!
  2. What is your process of repairing rock chips?? I am curious. Thanks!
  3. I don't know if this is the proper forum. Anybody know the process of wet sanding and what is involved? This is somthing that I have always wanted to learn how to do. thanks!!
  4. Nice ride!! Someday I would love to do a cummins conversion!!!
  5. Thanks everyone!! The only reason it is a money pit is because I will never have it completed. I enjoy working on it way too much to ever finish it.
  6. Thanks here are a few more pics... The truck is painted in memory of my younger brother Ryan who was killed in Iraq.
  7. It is alot of money to make them go fast. You don't just have to buy a chip to get to 400... LOL The 7.3 shown above has a GT42 turbo, Hybrid injectors, BTS transmission, Headstuds, Valvesprings, fass fuel system, water injection and a custom chip from BTS. The truck dyno'd at 490 horsepower.... not bad for a 7.3.
  8. Cool. Next time I will probably be down there is the diesel drags this summer. May have to look you guys up!
  9. You are right about that... without any mods to the 6.4 they are pigs compared to the 7.3L...
  10. I don't know... but there are a few with a DPF delete and some spartan tunes that are putting down 600 plus horsepower... with stock internals and stock tranny... Just crazy!
  11. Yep... I have seen those. I am more of a diesel guy... But we are talking about an old crew cab diesel 7.3L that he uses to pick up the grandkids in... We used to call it the grandpa truck... no more though..
  12. Yeah that was quite the cleanup...
  13. Just buffed out my friends superduty... 6 hours later and it turned out great. Love that machine polish kit!! There isn't a single scratch in it now... he won't be taking it elk hunting again... You vette's better watchout... it runs a 13.2 1/4 mile...
  14. I know what you mean. I have a nice set of aluminum scaffolding to get to the hard to reach places. I have only done half the roof of the truck. Have not touched the canopy yet... that will be fun...
