  1. You are using social media right here. Adam's forums is a form of social media.
  2. Lowes has the Greenworks electric power washer for $79 on Black Friday. It is 1600 psi and 1.2 gpm. Does anyone know if this would work with the foam cannon?
  3. Welcome to the Adam's family from a fellow St Louisan.
  4. Only you can make the final decision. A trade should be mutually agreeable by both sides. When it is agreeable, both sides are getting something they need or can use. You make the decision.
  5. I am 51 years old. I run, bike and swim weekly along with healthy eating and annual doctor visits. I run about 25 miles a week, bike 100 miles a week and swim about 2 miles a week. These amounts increase when training for a running race or triathlon. I still would like to be 5 pounds lighter, as I feel better when I am at that weight.
  6. Did most of the detailing yesterday and finished the interior this morning. Also detailed the bikes with some LPS. I did a complete strip, VRT on the tires and trim then sealed with LPS. This morning I topped it with a coat of Butter wax. All set to head north to WI for 4 days of mountain biking and gravel riding.
  7. The OP is not saying that his surface is feeling rough, but that is is not as slick as when he first applied LPS. Every few washes I hit mine with H2O G&G and that brings back the "slick" feeling that it had after the original application of LPS. I also top mine with Buttery Wax every month and that keeps the car protected and looking good. I have found out that H2O G&G goes hand in hand with LPS to help extend its life. It is possible that you did strip the LPS off your vehicle, depending on what you used to wash it. As Joel asked, what is your wash routine? .
  8. I would do the following, assuming no paint correction needed. Wash Clay Paint Sealant Top with wax Follow up with H2O G&G after periodic washes. Wash tires and wheels. Dress tires as you like (shiny or matte) Keep interior vacuumed, cleaned as well as glass. You will need to reseal when water stops beading (4-6 months)
  9. When washing my old F150, I would either climb in the bed or use a low step to get the roof done. Having a mitt on a stick just gives me one other thing to hit the finish with if I slip. No sick for me.
  10. What about removing the seats and putting them inside large plastic bags and bombing/fumigating inside the bag. My uncle used to do this with cypress stumps when making tables. He would put the stumps inside heavy duty plastic bags and fumigate them for a period of time to kill all bugs. I do not know what he used or how long he kept them in the bag. And I can't ask him as he has passed away.
  11. I just stick the cord through my belt loop. Easy and it keeps it out of the way.
  12. 4 mile run this morning with my wife followed by a 40 mile bike ride. Just finished wiping down the cars before calling it a day. Time to eat!
  13. Ask for references from the more expensive one. Then give those references a call to see the work done. If they won't supply references, skip them.
