  1. Agreed! I bought one out impulse one day and I don't regret it! So convenient!
  2. We should start a thread showing our screen shots! Haha, welcome!
  3. Sweet photography skills! Welcome!
  4. I bought a Colad spray bottle for the heck of it one day, and it's honestly one of my favorite tools! Fill her up with detail spray and quickly mist the entire car down before I towel dry her. Makes it super easy! You won't regret it if you get one!
  5. As I was researching, I came across that exact headlight and saw that people wrote great things about it as well. Seems like I'm going to need to invest in that then, as I live in a college and I can't really take a big lamp set up with me as I detail. This seems very convenient! Thanks for the suggestion!
  6. So on today's Snapchat story of Adam's Polishes(Follow them if you don't already) there were filming the testing and comparison of different products. And Kerwin was shown on camera as doing the testing and he was wearing a headlamp. Coincidentally, I have been researching headlamps the past few days and I was wondering if anyone knew which headlamp he was wearing? I know I can just buy a hand held light that are already proven to find swirls, but wearing it on your head seems so convenient as you're making each pass with your polisher. If I could work in sunlight, I would. But my garage doesn't have the best lighting and I'm trying to find something that can aid me for when it gets dim. So far, I have learned that the amount of lumens don't necessarily matter, but instead it's the temperature of the light. Around 5000K seems to mimic the way sunlight illuminates and there are not very many headlamps that are marketed with their temperature rating. So I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with headlamps for finding swirls or knows which headlamp Kerwin was wearing? Edit: Maybe I should have put this under General Detailing Discussion and Questions. My bad!
  7. Im also interested in the 3.5 gallon if they return! My BRZ trunk is not very big. And I have to put my two - 5 gallon buckets in the backseat instead of the trunk.
  8. Welcome to the forums! Post a picture of your WRX!
  9. Recieved my package today! To my fortune, I ended up accidentaly ordering TWO Metal Polish #1's. Ha. Great.
  10. I placed my order at 1:00 AM Pacific time. By 9:00 AM the following day, I got a shipment email and tracking number. That was insanely fast!
  11. I totally forgot about the VRT for my trim! Going to need to get that next time! Thank you! I'll post more photos soon, right now, it doesn't even look black. Haha. Thank you Chris! Good idea! I guess I made the commitment to these buckets already but thank you for the suggestion. The buckets came with the grit guards, so that's good! I ended up getting a few combo's when I made the order. Tried to save money! Lol. I cannot wait to NOT stress out about my car shampoo drying and leaving water spots until I thoroughly get the rest of the car wiped down! Gonna have to consider the wheel brush kit, I invested in Work Wheels and they deserve to be taken care of! I have a Perrin brushed aluminum cat back, so it's in pretty good condition. I appreciate the advice! I'm probably going to need to return it for part #2. It's not as powerful I'm assuming? Thank you Jessica! Haha just kidding, I can't wait to use the G&G! Can I apply detail spray once I rinse the car so it doesn't leave water spots until I can get to each panel and apply the G&G? I figure it's going to take me a while on my first application. Haha I'm glad you caught that! But thank you! Can't wait to apply everything! Gonna have to post more when she's all clean! I'm absolutely in love with her, so thankful! I think I may start washing all the cars on campus!
  12. Hello everyone! It's payday and I received my direct deposit. After 2 weeks of considering it, and a mystery box trial, I decided to make a substantial commitment (at least in my eyes as a college student) to Adam's Polishes. After reading tons of reviews and learning so much, I felt like this was the kind of company that I wanted to do business with. To start off my journey with Adam's Polishes, I decided on the following: 1-Car Wash Shampoo 1-Deep Wheel Cleaner 1-Tire Shine (with free half moon sponge) 1-Metal Polish #1 1-Detail Spray 1-Soap Bucket 1-Rinse Bucket 1- Car Wash Wedge 1-10" Car Wash Pad 2-Great White Microfiber Drying Towel 2-Single Soft Towel From previous mystery box: 1-H2O Guard and Gloss 1-Buttery Wax I'm very excited to receive my package filled with all the tools I need to make my car look the way it should. I'm glad to be a part of this community now and I'm looking forward to learning a lot from everyone's experience and expertise! Feel free to let me know if I'm missing anything! -Victor
