  1. I did this about a year to a year and a half ago. It was almost $2k. And I have bought even more since then. Some things I just don’t want to know the investment cost. But it’s priceless in my eyes. I am keeping my truck clean and well taken care of, in an attempt to keep said truck for the next 10-30 years. I consider it a long term investment.
  2. H2OGG is one of my favorites. The plan you have laid out is what I have done. Strip, clay, wash, dry with GG. Reapply GG 3-6 washes later. Once a year I strip it, clay and start over. I haven’t noticed any detriments to doing it this way.
  3. Ray That looks amazing!! Jealousy is setting in over here
  4. I use it and apply it by machine. I avoid the trim as it does stain. I did get some on one of my handles. I cleaned it the best I could but it still showed a white chalky look. I do my best to avoid the trim, but it’s my daily driver, not a show truck, it has imperfections, I treat the trim prior to applying paint sealant, which helps. But it’s inevitable that I get sloppy at one point and get a tiny bit on the trim.
  5. Took down over 40 acoustic ceiling tiles. Installed and wired 8 recessed lights. Installed two dimmer switches in place of the original 2 switches that controlled half of the outlets. The dimmer switches now control the new eight recessed lights. Changed the outlets out so they are now on all the time. And installed over 40 new acoustic tiles. About 25 of them needed to be cut to fit. Oh and 8 of those 25, I had to cut circles in them for the recessed lights. 🤦‍♂️ Took two 8-9 hour days. But it’s done and the wife is happy.
  6. So I had time, and the weather would be nice for more than 1 day. I washed the truck with foam and seal. It sure was easier and faster. Foam produced was thick, it clung well, had good lubricity. I was able to foam my crew cab pick up with the 1 bottle. Seal went just as smooth but I ran out with one truck bed side left. Looking back I could have moved faster, and changed my application movements. I did have to use 2 of the drying towels. And I only grabbed the second after doing the whole truck. The last 1/4 part wasn’t fully dry and was just “streaky wetness”. It was just moving water around and not picking it up. So I grabbed the second towel and finished it off. Truck looks good and feels good. It doesn’t feel as smooth as it does after I apply HGG, but it’s close. But feel doesn’t matter, it’s how it performs. Time will tell with part. I went and ordered another combo of it. It definitely saved time.
  7. @Rich @falcaineer I didn’t either. I was on YouTube a while back and saw that Adams had a new video uploaded. So I of coarse went and checked it out. And it was the foam and seal video. Looked interesting. Found it in their website. Everyday I come on the forum (sometimes multiple times a day) and read all new posts. I hadn’t and still haven’t found much talk about foam and seal. I hope it works well… it should as I believe @falcaineer. But hopefully it’s not one of the products that doesn’t catch on and Adams eventually cuts it from their line up.
  8. Yea. That’s what I was thinking. Less set up time, less tools/towels, less passes around truck, less cleanup. All of that combined would make it an easier option, especially for winter.
  9. Awesome. looking forward to it. Will be maybe 10 days before I receive it. But I am hopeful for it.
  10. Just curious if anyone has used it? What’s your thoughts on it? How does it compare to say paint sealant/H2OGG? Just ordered the combo. I also grabbed the new foam cannon (to go with the foam and seal), and also a new snub nose wand. I normally use the premium foam gun with regular soap, and 2 bucket wash. Paint sealant twice a year. Guard and gloss every couple washes. I like that combo but with a crew cab pickup, it’s a lot of work. Even for the regular wash and dry. I am hoping the foam and seal cuts that time down, and does as a good job.
  11. I am no expert, but doing a lot of reading here, most say they are a one time use. Because of the reasons you mentioned. Nature of the beast.
  12. I am one of them. Lol I would assume that it all dressed with Adam’s products.
  13. Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out here. I saw this in another forum I watch and thought it was fitting and funny.
  14. I do not have any social media accounts either. And never will. I have come to the realization that I am going to miss out on things. It was(is) frustrating but it is what the world has come to. It’s sad when you walk into store to make a purchase and the customer service person tells you to hold on while they take a phone call and answer questions. Or you walk into your coffee establishment to place an order and you have to wait while they make online orders. So frustrating. …. But I digress. That’s why I love Adam’s though. I have heard stories of customers walking into the store and they bend over backwards for them. And they continue that with the online orders also.
  15. I have brought my bucket with soap and a wash pad before to my local pay and sprays. I think the key is to do it during off times. And to work quickly. Personally, around 10am worked best for me. Most people are at work, the lunch crowd errand runners aren’t out yet. I did it once in the afternoon but felt it was busier than mid morning. like @falcaineer said, it wouldn’t hurt to ask as well.
  16. I have been eying this and so want to pull the trigger. This sale is killing me right now. My wife might be killing me more if I buy this though.
  17. Thank you @8675309'SS that seems to do the trick!
  18. I don’t like it all that much either i have it figured out how to only see unread threads but there is no way to mark it read like I was before.
  19. Congratulations!! Yet another reason why I love this company!! Stepping up in the time of need.

  21. I used this last fall in preparation of polishing my truck in order to apply CSC. Truck is a dark blue so I didn’t see the color change... but I felt better knowing that I did this step. I will continue to use it every time I clay. Takes it to the next level of smooth!!
  22. Again.. these series are great. Not that it’s much different than the other “edited” videos but these are great videos. I am always late to the party. I am still using up my gallon of wheel cleaner. I ceramic coated my wheels and have Tire Armor on my tires so I barely use wheel cleaner anymore. BUT, I will be ordering this when my current stock runs out.
  23. Love the 1 take video series. I too, would like know how that black BMW was treated prior to using CS3. Bare paint, PS, CSC, Full coating? Very interested in trying this out. My truck is ceramic spray coated and has been maintained with 2 bucket wash, boosted as needed and CWW as needed as well. Just trying to use up stock I have on hand before purchasing these new amazing products you guys are coming out with.
