  1. Since it is Father's Day I decided to wash my father's company truck. He takes it to job sites, and it isn't detailed really, just washed. The car has not been waxed or clayed in so long that drying the paint was a pain. I wanted a cheap way to dry the paint better so I put a few sprays of Waterless on my microfiber towel. I realized this could be used for drying any car after a wash to lubricate the towel and make drying easier without putting any wax additives on the paint. Has anyone else tried this or is willing too? Is it worth it? I would like to use it when drying a car before I apply liquid wax or sealant to protect my paint from scratching.
  2. While I had already stripped the vehicle, I like to use step 6 to remove clay bar residue, or anything else on the paint. And step 11 is one of my favorite. It isn't necessary, you're right, but you can truly see left over polish in your paint that just a microfiber towel missed. I sawnit in TheWolf's post, Adamized the Raptor, it just is another way to cleanse your paint. As this is the first time I have tried this process, I'll see how the sealant and wax hold up parked outside in the Florida heat.
  3. It was time to do a full detail, and after reading some write-ups from the forum I decided to try some new techniques. As I have not yet purchased a DA polisher I could only hand polish with Revive. I am fairly new to the forum, and have not been detailing for too long, so if you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate reading them. Adamizing Process 1.) Clean the exhaust tips with APC and an assortment of brushes. 2.) Clean the tires, and wheel wells with APC. Then clean the rims with Wheel Cleaner (don't forget to move the car a few feet and clean behind the calipers). 3.) Get your two buckets method ready, using 2oz. of APC and 4oz. of Car Shampoo. Then rinse the car off and begin washing. 4.) Without rinsing the vehicle, begin clay bar treatment with Detail Spray. 5.) Rinse of the vehicle, and then wipe down with a wash pad and a 1:1 dilution of APC. 6.) Rinse the vehicle down again, and dry with the Great White Drying Towel (don't use G&G or DS). 7.) Apply Glass Sealant to the windows. 8.) Apply SVRT to trim. 9.) Apply Tire Shine to the tires with the Hex Grip applicator. 10.) Polish the paint and headlights, I used Revive and did this step by hand. 11.) Wipe down the vehicle with a Single Soft Towel and a 1:1 dilution of isopropyl alcohol (this step is awesome, you can see the polish that was left on your paint). Avoid the windows, wouldn't want to strip the Glass Sealant. 12.) Apply Liquid Paint Sealant, I also did this by hand with a microfiber applicator pad, also applying to the rims. 13.) Allow LPS to cure, it was quite a humid Florida day, so I let it cure for an hour. 14.) Remove the sealant, wait another hour, and then apply Buttery Wet Wax. I'll do the interior tomorrow. Here are the results.
  4. Much appreciated I'll give them all a look.
  5. Thanks to all for the warm welcome, I woke up early to beat this rainy Florida weekend, and used all my new stuff I just ordered from Adam's. Very impressed with the glass sealant. If anyone has any suggestions on good topics to look at I would love to know.
  6. .Hello Adams Forum Members, I'm excited to be a member of the forum. I live in Tampa, Florida, and have used many products before Adam's, but none have compared. Ever since my first bottle of detail spray I've been hooked. Now my entire arsenal is practically Adam's and I'm eager to learn and contribute to the forum
