  1. I couldn't agree more with the original post, these products are just flat out awesome, and the customer service is even better. I actually decided to stop by headquarters today cause I finally decided to buy a sidekick and just couldn't wait for delivery so I stopped by on my way home from work, Ben hooked me up with a sidekick and a few other products I needed/wanted, also like an idiot I dropped my foam gun just right and had busted it last week, I had spoke to Dan earlier this week, and he was looking into a replacement for me, Ben was kind enough to take care of that right away!! These guys are awesome and their products are great... It truly is addicting when you get into these products.... I will be an Adams customer for life!
  2. Thanks everyone, it was definitely worth it.. Now I need to do my wrx and then the wife's Lexus, which I think will be just clay bar and sealer, it's silver and brand new so it doesn't need a whole lot of work!
  3. Finally got around to doing my first paint correction, on my own personal pickup. Took some getting use to with the Porta cable as far as pressure and getting use to my hands vibrating after I got done haha. It took me a little longer then I expected but I also had some pretty aggressive scratches on there from some bushwhacker fender flare (I'll never waste money on bushwhacker flares again, they destroy pain), so I had to wet sand with some 2000 then 3000 grit to get those out then used the 4" drill adapter to get the sanding marks out then onward with the pint correction. Over all the truck turned out pretty decent I think. I'll try to upload some pictures now
  4. ok,sounds good, I will do the correction and paint sealant. Then wipe and clean the area with alcohol where the flares attach with 3m tape... Thanks you!!!!
  5. Hey everyone, got a quick question I hope, I recently had some new fender flares painted and I'm getting ready to install them, but upon removing the old ones I have some light scratches and some heavy scuff marks that I would like to correct by doing a a paint correction first. My question is would it be safe to do my paint correction and then apply the fender flares after the correction and finishing polish? Or will I have adhesion problems, The other way I thought of aproachjng it was to re clay bar where the double sided tape attaches, or should I just correct/polish and then wipe with alcohol wipe to help the tape stick? Also I want to do the polishing with the fender flares off the truck so I don't have to worry about getting anything on the flares that would prevent them from fully curing seems how they were painted 2wks ago. Thanks in advance Wes
  6. Thanks everyone, as far as the machine I chose, I went with the Porta Cable, and for a couple reasons, one being the price is pretty reasonable for a beginner like myself and second I didn't even know how well things would go so I didn't want to invest a lot of money right off the bat, just in case I discover that machine polishing isn't for me. But if all goes well with the first couple vehicles I will be in the market to upgrade and will definitely do my research on here to see what the pros and cons are of each machine and see what will suit me best for the vehicles I'm working on!
  7. Hey everyone, Been using Adams product for a little over a year now, and absolutely will not use anything else! I had a friend of mine who does the paint correction on all my vehicles (he does unbelievable work too by the way). But I finally got up the nerve to buy my own equipment and start doing it my self! I've always been scared I would ruin the paint but after countless hours of reading and video watching, I decided it was time. So I did a little trial run on a fender on my pickup and man was I AMAZED... I'm by no means a professional, but I'm wanting to learn all the tips and tricks so that's why I joined, I love cleaning my own cars and even some friends cars but wouldn't want to do it for a living, those of you that do it for a living are true artist!! Anyways sorry for the long read and I'm excited to learn more everyday. Thanks for your time Wes
