My PC has arrived! Just a dumb question about setting it up.The backing plate comes with a washer on it already. Do I put the washer that comes in the accessory bag on top of that washer? Also I tried it out on a 15-yr old car that the paint was not taken care of. I did half the hood just to practice. I washed it and clayed it. I then went over it 2-3 time with Shr (orange pad) and Fmp (white pad) just like in the videos. The finish is smooth and shiny but there are these little spots of, I don't know what ,that are stuck to the paint that washing and clay will not get off.They are dark colored and hard. Old tree sap perhaps? Any tips on getting these off?

Not sure if this is the right spot to post this. I received my polishing supplies on Friday but no PC.. Does the PC ship separate ? If so, there is no tracking info.

Good question! I thought about it after I left and can't figure out how it got there. It wasn't even near where they were pouring and the hood was up.

Am I too obsessed with my paint? I went to a drive through oil change place yesterday for oil change a tire rotation (no time to do myself) and I was trying to keep a close eye on them from the waiting area and was actually nervous they would "bump" into my paint lol. So I go out to pay them and notice a " stain" along the side of the hood a went to look at it and the kid says" oops sorry...just spilled a little oil there" and proceeded to wipe it off with a napkin...yes a napkin! I yelled NOOOOO!!! I went to my trunk and grabbed detailer and a Mf and wiped it down. The mangager was there and said " oh...one of those guys" I felt kinda dumb after that but I didn't want a napkin wiping across my paint. Thanks for letting me rant.

Hello from Western NY! Been reading the posts for awhile and decided to join. My pc should arrive tomorrow and I will learn how to use it on an older car first before I venture on newer cars. I watched all the videos 10 times over as well as Junkman's awesome videos . I am well versed and practiced on washing methods,claying, hand waxing, now I need to advance to machine polishing/waxing.I already have several friends wanting me to detail their rides. I am not quite brave enough to try the pc on them yet.
