  1. ya, i sent a PM to adam a few minutes ago. thanks guys
  2. the link isnt working for me, and the it wont let me email them either
  3. whats up guys, my first orange pad i got had bad velcro on it, after doing 3 panels, it wasnt stickign to the PC anymore. they sent a new one, and its happening again... has anyone had this problem too?
  4. sorry adam, i hope you didnt take it as me on a rant. i was just wondering if there was something i did wrong to mess the pad up, but all i used was water to wash it with. im not sure if i still have my order number...but ill take a look around. thanks alot man, i appreciate it!
  5. No, its not wet. Its been 2-3 days since i have used it. Even on speed 4-5 it kind of sputters, then flies off. Just looking at it, it doesnt look in bad shape. And even when you feel it it doesnt feel bad either. Not all loose or anything like that
  6. whats up guys. i went out to polish new new motorcycle (wooo hooo!!!) and the daamn velcro on the orange pad isnt sticking to the polisher. all i did was \wash them in the kitchen sink. not washer or anything. whats up with that? im not even done with my truck yet (weather has been really shiity the past week) and the pad isnt sticking anymore, so how am i supposed to finish my truck???
  7. one more question...i know at first i was using too much SHR, dust balls flying everywehre! when i did the side panel yesterday i think i got it right, i had no dust. but how do i know when to stop, will it be almost dry to the touch? and you cant really see the product on the car much anymore? i dont wanna be on #6 on the car, with no product cutting....im sure that wouldnt be good...
  8. from what i have been told, you can just go back to the SHR. i hope i didnt tell you wrong, but i really dont know why you used your hand instead of the PC anyway.....
  9. thanks guys! ima get that ******* lookin right today!
  10. whats up guys. alot of you have seen my other thread where i finally got my stuff and started on the truck. and actually, after seeing it in the bright sun today, the hood still has a crap load of swirl marks. i think i may have been too aggressive?? i had the speed setting on 6 the whole time, even after the oxidation came off. and i was using too much SHR too (dust balls flying everywhere). im probably gonna get the hood repainted anyway just cause there are hundreds of rock chips all over it. i did the quarter panel today too, and that actually looks really good. not 100% swirl free though. probably 90-95% i used SHR on #6 for a little while, then the 2 pass i did #4. then i used the polish on the white pad on #4 and made i pass there. what should i do, go back to SHR? or maybe the polish on #5 or 6??
  11. for 60$ it aint bad, but i think im gonna need more then 1oz.
  12. :(that chip repair looks pretty cool. so anyone have experiance with it? and happy with the results?? ill be outside painting my hood all day long with it...haha there are prolly a few hundred small chips. remember, its a 99 and whoever had it before me didnt take care of it like they should take care of a lightning
  13. ya i tried it. took out alot of the really fine swirls it seemed. its about 15 degrees cooler out today, so im gonna work on it today too. gotta run a few errands for the wifey first though. i dont even know if im gonna worry about getting the hood any better. its hard to see in the pics, but there are **** tons of rock chips on the front. ill probably get it painted, along with the bumper
  14. i ordered the starter kit deal, it didnt come with revive.
