  1. I started using VRT 50/50 for tires because I didn't like the shine. Now use it for all exterior vinyl and rubber
  2. I've used 303 also. Still have most of a gallon left. VRT 50/50 is my preference.
  3. I had one like it also. That Crimson Red Tintcoat is gorgeous when polished up and coated/waxed. Good job
  4. Congrats. Recently retired myself. Probably will have to trade my '18 Silverado in a couple of years for lack of paint. Or maybe work on some kinfolk cars.
  5. So if I have an issue with a bottle of product, Who pays return shipping?
  6. I've used VRT, 303 and Truxedos' own stuff. They all bleed off. But usually only the first hard rain.
  7. I' buying a new Silverado with a painted front bumper. Could I use Wheel coating on the bumper?
  8. I heat my garage to about 40 to 45 degrees. Ok or too cool
  9. I coated my wheels with Adams ceramic wheel coating and have about a half of a bottle left. How long will the half bottle last?
  10. They put LED's in our shop, not impressed. Very shadowy, not any brighter. Probably saves the company money though. Do your math. X2 on the garagejournal site.
  11. That sucks. Got mine today and not to rub salt in a wound but mine is flawless
  12. I'm no body man but i don't think OE paint needs a cure time. Try claying or stipwash or isopropyl alcohol or dawn. They all work.
  13. Lacquer thinner works on painted pin stripes. I guess it depends on the paint that was used.I used Easy off on my drag car and trailer years ago and it worked fine. My wife crashed my Silverado last fall. It had pin stripes so I took the old door home and experimented with it. Easy off wouldn't touch it so based on our body guys advice I tried lacquer thinner and it took the stripes off easily. Neither harmed the clear coat.
  14. I just hit mine with waterless wash and an old microfiber towel
  15. We have people come to our lot to repair nicks and scratches. Mostly use air brushes. Was never sure how long these repairs would hold up.
  16. I'm not a body guy but from my understanding, clear coat needs to be put down over a fresh color coat. The color coat will still be slightly wet/tacky when the clear is applied. Chemical bond. But fell free to correct me if I'm wrong.
  17. I too am not a fan of the leather smell. Maybe a faint smell but the conditioner is too strong for me. Got a bottle in a mystery box and gave it away.
