  1. Hey everyone, I am currently having my ZL1 wrapped in a gloss wrap similar to the attached picture. I currently have been using the graphene soap (is that safe to use on vinyl?) as well as graphene detail as a drying aid (is that also save to use on the gloss vinyl?). I also use the graphene boost occasionally (is that safe to use on vinyl?). I used all of those products mentioned on my ZL1s paint, but now that I am getting it wrapped in the new color, can I use all of those products mentioned above? and how do I prep the vinyl for adding the Adams spray ceramic coating? Another side note, the side skirts a satin black color, will the graphene coating/soap/boost all affect the deptor, or the new wrap color for that matter? Thanks everyone for your help!
  2. I watched an Adams YouTube video that other day that mentioned not to use the Graphene Detail Spray as a drying agent because it's too "streaky".
  3. Would have been nice to save a couple hundred dollars instead of buying all new and just continue on using the "old" adams 😒
  4. Hello everyone, awhile ago i was mentioning i was going to adams ceramic coat my ZL1. I did that and most if not all the mods and adams experts on here repeatedly told me that with a ceramic coated vehicle i would need to use all graphene products from this point forward. Bought all new "graphene adams" maintenance stuff to use on the newly ceramic coated vehicle, but watching a youtube video with Adam himself in it he mentioned something peculiar. He said "i don't care what type of soap of ours you use on a ceramic coated vehicle".....but i thought i needed to use a graphene product from here moving forward? What gives? Why try and sell me on something I wouldn't need?
  5. I don't believe your thread will get enough attention. But this seems to be the sentiment amongst most people using the new stuff. BRING BACK THE OLD!!! I'm on the last couple of bottles as well and after reading some of the reviews, I may look elsewhere to replace these. Not sure why they took a step backwards.
  6. Does anyone know how long it takes customer service to reply to an exchange request. I emailed them last week and still haven't heard anything. Thanks for any help!!!
  7. Looks like i opened a can of ceramic worms haha i was just looking at add some shine to the already ceramic coated car, now i'm having to do a 10 step process to keep it fresh lol, may just have it removed and go back to the age old wash and waxing...
  8. Ahh ok got it, so thoughts on my above post i quoted?
  9. Huh? which part of that did you say yes to? haha
  10. So a good clay with some old school Adams polish with my rotary polisher should bring some pop back and then a topper of graphene detail spray? Does that sound about correct?
  11. Everything I use is Adams, I use Adams shampoo with a foam gun, and Detail spray as a drying aid....am i hindering the shine of the ceramic with those two products?
  12. Wouldn't that remove the already existing ceramic coating? Sorry for my ignorance here, i am new to ceramic coatings and what works with them and what doesn't. And would you consider Brilliant Glaze and H2O GG, in the "don't top ceramic category"?
  13. I have used CS3, was just looking at something that i could use to add even more shine. So would it be safe to say using H2O Guard and Gloss on a ceramic coated vehicle is a no-no as well? Or even Brilliant Glaze is a no-no as well?
  14. So what would you suggest from the Adams line that I use to make the paint pop since it's already ceramic coated?
  15. Well that sucks, what's the return policy for unopened Americana wax? So the Americana will do nothing to enhance the already ceramic coated paint?
  16. Hey everyone, bought a 2020 ZL1 shadow gray metallic about 7 months ago. Previous owner had it ceramic coated drove it for 300 miles and traded it in. I’ve always used adams americana paste wax on all my weekend cruisers, and want to use it on this ZL1 as well. Is it bad to put a topper on the zl1 that is already ceramic coated with Americana paste wax? Previous cars I’ve used it on the paint really popped after the application but none of those were ceramic coated. Thoughts?
  17. You're getting caught up on ACTUAL car care products?!?!?!?!?!?!
  18. Guess I should have ordered hand sanitizer....I know the situation the last couple of months has been trying on all of us. But good business practice would suggest. If you're wanting to increase revenue by producing a product that is in dire need during times like these, one of which isn't a car care product, you don't forget about the customers that got you to this point to begin with. And if you're expecting bulk orders on something this important.....hire more people ahead of time.....just some thoughts moving forward when trying to produce something outside of what your business is used to.
  19. Usually Adams is pretty quick shipping out their products. Especially if you select a faster shipping method in my experience. Anyone know why their taking 7-10 days to process shipments now? Thanks for any help!
  20. Welcome to the forum my 4th gen friend! Lost of great info to read up on before starting. My F-Body is in my profile picture!
  21. If it makes you feel any better it usually takes 5 days to get from Colorado to so cal which I find incredibly weird. I've ordered things from the Midwest (performance auto parts) and gotten it faster than Adams when selecting the exact same shipping methods.
  22. Great info everyone I appreciate the help! It is a lighter gray color so it should show some "depth" after all is said and done. With that being said since I don't see many swirl marks if any, after the strip wash is it ok to use a "finishing polish" first and not use the correcting polish? And than follow it with paint sealant etc? Thanks for any help. So the steps would be strip wash, clay bar, finishing polish, paint sealant, than a wax topper? Sound reasonable?
