  1. Today I washed both our cars but strip washed one. The stripped wash (Adams strip wash) car felt more slick during the wash than the car shampoo.
  2. When I click on the black t shirt the original image is the black T. When i click on my size the picture of the adams blue t shirt comes up. I just want to confirm that when I order I will be receiving a black T and NOT the blue t shirt. Thanks!
  3. would it react to the alcohol base from the windshield fluid though? Maybe i'll run my fluid out. Fill it with water and run that out then try some diluted rinse less. couldn't hurt?
  4. Do you think a diluted rinse less wash would make a good washer fluid?
  5. I have used it. And it smells like soap. That's why I said it smells like soap.
  6. Here's the side in the garage. LPS laid down before the Americana. How long should I wait till it cures?
  7. Upon closer inspection they are scratches. I'll have to work at it to get them all. But it's not bad for a daily driver I can't even get a good camera shot of the scratches.
  8. I didn't use a brush. I fluffed it up with my fingers though. Maybe the "swirl" marks I'm seeing after the mf pad is just plain old scratches that need more passes to get out. I'll be working on this tonight when it cools down outside.
  9. Whew I did a bit of correcting today and quit half way through. The porter cable was able to get about 80% of the swirl marks out of the finish but I think I need some spare microfiber pads. I kept doing passes with it and seemed to not be doing much after a while. Am I doing something wrong? Like I said I was able to get a lot of the swirl marks out on the roof and hood but it seemed to lose its effectiveness after a while. Is that just what to expect with the porter cable? I'm going to order more pads and continue another weekend. Put some amaericana wax on the car to hold it over till then. That was... aLOt of work! Whew.
  10. So you guys are saying have multiple pads so I don't have to stop and clean them and wait for them to dry. Or are you saying that these pads will wear out?
