  1. That makes sense, but depending on how many scratches (first edge ordered i refused due to damage and scratches everywhere) im just worried you'll see a front door polished, but the rear door is just off a little cause it only has sealant and wax. Colour is dark grey metallic, only reason I'm thinking this may be an issue. The DA and 4" is a pain that's fore sure, but this new car won't be driven until its ready. I know i made a mistake buying meguairs DA, but it was either get the products I need and sacrifice polisher, or get nice polisher but skimp on products.
  2. Hello all, Been using Adams products on my DD for awhile now and love the results. Time came to order a new SUV for family duties and the 2016 ford edge is the winner. I used to do professional detailing about 10 years ago full-time for busy dealership that actually understood detailing = happier customer (guess thats gone), I did paint correction, polish, wax, etc so i'm not new to detailing, but its obviously been awhile now since I was in a condo. Now in a house With the new car, i've told dealership do not detail, do not wash, don't even take off the plastic. My plan is too carefully remove plastic, wash, clay, paint sealant, carnauba wax x2, glass sealant and wax the polished wheels too off the car (3 coats). If the edge is scratched (which it probably will be in spots), then paint correction (orange pads) and paint finishing (white pads) pads should the trick. a) would you paint correct and finish whole car, or just spots? 1 or two coats of sealant (just to ensure even coverage?) Keep in mind though, no budget right now for the 7424xp, so i'm limited to the meguiars DA drill polisher. But i'll be ordering Adams pads (orange microfibre, orange foam and white foam as well as black foam) I know the two coats of wax is overkill after sealant, but detailing my cars is my serenity from stressful job, so I give my DD the same treatment as weekend only cars. Any thoughts?
