  1. Would Iso alcohol and water (1 part water, 1 part alcohol) do the trick? I used this method before polishing my car and after polishing to remove all the residue.
  2. What a good score! lol, $30 for an Adam's foam gun... woo hoo! Welcome to the forums!
  3. Came out excellent! A couple scratches I couldn't get with Lake Country white pads, so I ordered orange to see what that would do. All in all, came out excellent for my first time. I didn't screw anything up lol! I may do this on the side for some beer money... or more detailing products
  4. Brought a tear to my eye. You know what really burns my balls? The fact that we give these ILLEGALS all this free stuff, but there are vets dying and going homeless. We bow to these people who loot the system, but do so little for the men and women who made a sacrifice for their country.
  5. Hey y'all, finally started my paint correction. I got a good deal on a PC and some assorted polishes. I'm not sure if it's against the rules to name the company, so I'll leave that out. I just have a quick question for future paint correction. The Adam's correcting... Does it have a good cut if paired with a LC orange or white? I don't anticipate any big scratches due to now properly washing and drying the car I'll admit it, when I first bought the car, I brought it to a tunnel wash. I didn't know any better! And yes, it's a black car. I violated the cardinal rule of black cars. Live and learn!
  6. Yeah, I am pretty far away from CO. Maybe when I order the mystery box, I'll opt for the next tier shipping.
  7. Woo hoo! About to break my mystery box cherry! This will help me build my Adam's collection.
  8. When will it be avail? Figures I just ordered that this week. And another product I ordered was the next day's "special."
  9. Muscle cars are beautiful. This is embarrassing, but when I was younger I was into the Honda's and all that stuff. Funny as how you become a little older, your taste in cars (and sometimes women) change. I'd still prefer a nice M3 over a Mustang, but I can appreciate what both cars bring to the table. But hell, there is nothing like the sound of a modded American V8 pulling up a hill at 5000 RPM
  10. Hello all, I was just wondering if anybody else experienced slow shipping when choosing the economy option that involves Fedex and the USPS. I checked my estimated time of delivery yesterday and it said it will be here June 8th. Now it's pushed up until the 11th. I placed my order Memorial Day (May 31st).
  11. Nice Camaro man. Fellow Yanks fan here. I don't wanna talk about it lol.
  12. I guess my main factor would be speed and ease of use for a novice. I don't think I'll need something "top of the line" since it will only be used for a few cars. Maybe two paint corrections in a year and waxing/sealant every other month. Would a used Cyclo be recommended? There are a few pawn shops in the area I can check out. Thanks for all your input. It was def a good move joining these forums.
  13. I'm honestly surprised that railing took the weight now that I think of it. The deck is 15 y/o. I don't know what it is this week with wildlife, but yesterday my dog was sprayed by a skunk. That was fun. She tried to hop in the car when I opened the back seat to retrieve something. Talk about a scary situation!
  14. I was looking at the cyclo. From what I understand, they're like the "Kirby" of the autoworld. You will only need one your whole life and parts are easily swapped out. Made in the USA too.
  15. I might have to splurge a little bit. Cutting time in half is a pretty big deal. If it was like 10-20 min I'd say ehh.. but damn. This will be my first random orbital and from what I understand, the learning curve isn't big. Is it recommended for a beginner to start on a PC or does it really matter as long as it's a RO? I know rotary have a learning curve but are much faster. Thanks!
  16. Remember...7 years back luck for breaking that! Looks like a mirror! Excellent work
  17. Ahh! I just ordered it 15 min ago! Thanks for the offer! Not often you find friendly people in CT either :0 How much faster is the flex compared to the PC? I'd only be doing my car and maybe 3-4 others (family, trust me, they will make me do it after they see the results). Is it worth splurging a little more for the flex?
  18. Nice buck! I rarely see bucks around here. Mostly doe and little deer! Nature is awesome! I'd love to have a log cabin in the woods with a bunch of land.
  19. The dirty water, AKA the beautiful city of Waterbury Josh, have you been to the Corvette store in CT? They supposedly sell Adam's Polishes according to the dealer locator. I'd love to check it out if they do.
  20. Bobcats are such cool animals. Very recluse, but awesome when you seem 'em chasing something or just running around.
  21. Would you recommend rinseless wash or waterless wash for pollen and light dust?
  22. The spot in question has a cracked appearance to it. Texture wise, it's rough. There are two or three other spots like it, but only on the roof. I think I may try to clay it. A bird crapped on my car in sunlight while I was at work and it left a spot I cannot get off with washing. So I'll try and clay that. I just need to buy the PC, waiting on the next paycheck lol.
  23. Hungry bear who climbed up the deck looking for food! Couldn't get a pic of the cub who stayed behind.
  24. This ladybear climbed up the deck today to scope out the bird feeders. Had a little cub with her. They are getting ballsy around here now due to all the development, and they probably smell the great smell of bbq this Memorial Day weekend. This is in CT by the way.
