1. if for some reason a clay bar doesn't work. What would be a plan B or maybe even a plan c??
2. HELP!!! Quick background. I was building some car parts for my buddies white evo. I used Red Rustolium X2 Ultra Cover to paint the parts. I was in the garage about 30ft away from his car. I thought I more then far enough away. I guess not…. Well I got the worst text you can get at 1 in the morning. He said the front of his car is covered in red mist. I don’t know, the wind must have carried the mist. This was on Sunday, it’s now Friday. That paint is not more than dried! So I need your help. PLEASE! How do we remove the red mist without ruining the finish of the car. My fear is that attempting to remove the red mist will cause the clear coat to tint red give the car a pink hue….. Thanks in advanced for any advice.
3. Adam and crew. Thank you. My lady, baby, and myself had a good time. I learn something new everytime I go. Thank you.
4. I wasn't sure how to wash it so i referenced your site before I did. Your site says its ok to throw it in the washer & dryer. Can you believe it? i actually read the instructions! http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-83-adams-professional-wash-pad.aspx
5. Not sure if this is the right place to post this. Please move is necessary. After my son destroyed my previous wash pad cleaning his skate board. I had to break out my back up. (I got 2 for Christmas ) After washing my car i threw it in the washing machine. It was all good till I pulled it out of the dryer. It shed all over my plush blues. The pad beaded up all over. I thought maybe I dried it on high heat but the low tumble setting was pushed in. Has any one else had this problem? I don't believe I did anything different care wise from my previous pad. I picked all the beads of and it appears to be fine. But I am a little apprehensive using it to wash my car.
6. So I'm getting on the train this morning going to work. Today just happens to be random bomb and drug inspection day. Today also just happens to be the day that I’m taking Adams on the train for a buddy I work with. FLUIDS! Any fluids that are non-coffee related automatically get the “Excuse me Sir, can I have you step over here”. Thus begins the standard Q & A session. I then crack the bottle of Detail spray open; the K-9 unit gives it thumbs up. What happens then? What always happens after some gets a whiff of detail spray. “Smells like cotton candy. Is it any good”. “I have a 69 Chevy…………” , “……Meguires,…..Costco micro………Power Ball…….”. Blah, Blah, Blah……. So later today one of LA finest will be logging onto the Adam’s websites and spending some of his hard earned cash. I just find it funny. The story is always the same. The result is always the same. I just thought I would share.
7. Need some advice from the pro's! So last month we had a mini flood in our apartment. All the carpet was replaced with a really nice light tan carpet. It sure is pretty! But with 3 little boys and an 1 year old daughter, light tan carpet is tough to get clean. A month later I saw several small spots starting to form near the kitchen area. I asked my lady what I should use to get them out. With great confidence she said, use the laundry prespot and just scrub them out, then vacuum. It worked great, for week. But know the area's that I scrubbed seem to be darker and you can tell where I scrubbed. So I'm sitting here at work, bored, think about those stains. (Hey I'm bored!) When I realize, my girlfriend has some Adams Carpet Cleaner stashed somewhere in the house. So my question is, once I find it, how should I attack this stain? Is there a chance?
8. Need for Speed!!!!!! My favorite is underground followed by undercover.
9. i would love to walk that facility.
10. i have done this. Pretty much the same result, just not as bad of an end result.
11. a friend gave me a sample and then i attended a detail clinic in torrance. HOOKED FOR LIFE!
12. this thread wasn't about us winning. It was about adams products helping us to victory. and the appreciation that we as a club have for this product, and company. i know it sounds cheesy but when people not only look at your car but sniff it to, you know you got something good going on. thats my new pick up line. "Hey baby you want to sniff my car?"
13. SoCal3g.com would like to send a formal Thank You to Adams Polishes and Jason. SoCal3g.com members attended a detail clinic a few months back hosted by Jason at the Adams warehouse. We were taught the fine art of detailing using Adams products. As you all know the stuff is good. Since then our club has hosted mini clinics in our own garages to teach those within our club the knowledge that was shared with us. Using the knowledge obtained at the clinic helped SoCal3g.com to take home 3 out of 4 trophies in the all eclipse category @ the Toys for Tots Charity Car Show this past weekend at the California Speedway in Fontana. As well as the Best of Show for the 350z category. Every one of our cars at the show used Adams products. The greatest moment was when I saw a lady sniff 2 of our cars, and say "They all smell the same". "They smell good". Of corse I walked over and gave her a 4oz bottle of detail spray. (I always have one in my glove box.) So thank you Adams Polishes and Jason, for helping SoCal3g.com have the best looking 3rd Generations Mitsubishi Eclipse's on the road. mOe SoCal3g.com President
14. the above is correct to an extent. i do agree there are 100 different ways to do things in photoshop. the problem your going to run into with just making a selection and deleting the background is going to be at the RIP stage. If this is for a catalog then you will have to save this file out as psd and place into a layout program. then you have to hope that it is on a plain white background. otherwise you will end up with white bounding box. a clipping path is the only true way to do this. using the method above will work, but it is the quick fix. do some research on how to create a clipping path. once you get the hang of it, you will see its very easy.
