Good Morning. I was checking in to s and if anyone had any recommendations for removing surface scratches from jeep soft to windows, products used and process. Thank you.

Yes high polish to begin with. . I have the pads that go in a drill, I think those are he focus pads. If I use those what process would I use. Meaning what color pad, use for 1 and 2, use pad alone or pad with towel? Thanks so much for the help. Here is the pic of the one I have about six hours into It still needs touch up in certain spots. I am trying to get my centerline wheels back into good shape. They are all aluminum with no clearcoat on them. I have been using metal polish 1 and 2 by hand and they are coming back to being in good shape. The problem is that I spent about 6 hours on one wheel and I am still not done with one wheel and my hands are killing me. The wheels are only about 5 years old and the vehicle has been garaged the whole time. The problem is I never got a good polish on these wheels sence I baught them and I have just been cleaning them and not polishing them. Is there any tools that I could use to make the process easier. I have all of the adams pads small and big, the wheels made by other manufactures and these felt polishing tools. I messed around with some of the tools and just couldn't figure out a good approach and I don't want to waste my product. Maybe by hand is the best way and if it is so be it. I was just seeing if there was a quicker way with some tools. Another problem is these wheels have a lot of different angles and spaces. Any help would be great.

Do you think the regualr machine polish and wax will stand up as long as a paste wax, IE Americana or collonites.... So should I do swirl and hase and then machine polish over the top then remove and wax? My boat is in a boat house 24/7 on the water and is exposed to salt water so I dont have sun beating on it all day but the salt water can do a pounding.. Thanks in advance for the advise guys. Just want to do it right the first time and not waste my efforts or come up short..... Doug

Thanks guys... Its a cape cruiser (C-Dory) It is in a boat house (down in tacoma area shane). Its in good shape just was looking at using the adams products instead of collinites that I usually use. I have a ton of the adams products I use on my lightning and srt8 jeep so I wanted to give it a go.... Love the stuff just was not sure of the process. So should I do the complete boat in swirl and haze, then machine poilish and wax ? Thanks Doug

I am looking at putting the Adams treatment on my Boat. The boat is in pretty good shape and doesnt have much fadding. Any one have any tips for the process to whip a boat in shape. Should I do the full clay bar, swirl and haze remover, polish and wax process..... Thanks in advance for any tips.... Doug

I just pulled this from Centerlines web page... I should have been a bit more vigalant and take full responsbility for what has happened, I do apprecaite any assistance and advise to bring these suckers back as much as I can... thanks Doug PS what is the base on the APC? Thanks Doug Washing your wheels with mild soap and water on a weekly basis will help to maintain them. Wash wheels when they are cool to prevent spotting. You will also want to periodically polish the wheels with a non-abrasive, aluminum polish (some recommendations: Eagle One, Mothers, Meguiar's). Absolutely no ammonia-based or acid cleaning solutions on the wheels (or the tires for that matter). Helpful hint from Ron in the Sales Dept: A light coat of car wax on the wheels diminishes the amount of surface contaminants adhering to the wheel.

Here are some pictures. The first 3 pictures are of a wheel I started working on with polish #1 with a cotton applicator and wipping off with a adams microfiber towel. The last 3 pictures are of a wheel that was hit with the APC and I have not worked on yet. Thanks in advance for any and all comments. Thanks Doug

Thanks so much guys for the follow ups..... I even got an email from Adam himself. This goes beyond the call of customer service. The best I can discribe it is that it is a milky residue. They are centerline Matrix 5's on my Lightning. I dont think they are clear coated. However, it looked like some minor scratches were coming up on the flat part of the rim, so I didnt want to continue on untill I figured out what the best approach was to take to minimize any possible damage and frustration factor. It should also be noted that it says right on the bottle to delute 50% with alumiunum surfaces, but I just spent the day before on my SRT 8 Jeep with no problems so I was cooking along and was rushing along and didnt think to read the bottle again... Like I said I dont think they are ruined by any means, just need to figure out the best way to correct them... Thanks again, and I can take pics if that will help. I was spraying the fender wells with the all purpuse cleaner and I got some all over my aluminum wheels. I then saw on the bottle that it said to dilute with aluminum wheels so I hurried up and sprayed it off... However it has left a resuide that I have been working to get out with polish #1. IT appears to be cominig out but the aluminum is looking scratched. Any help or tips would be great... These wheels cost me 2000 grand... Thanks in advance Doug
