  1. A good friend of mine asked me if I would work on the wheels on her Caddy. No problem.....broke out my Adams arsenal and went to work. The wheels came our perfect....so what the heck.....gave the care a complete bath. My wheel cleaning inspector approved!
  2. I use my electric leaf blower.......works like a charm, however I do have a hand held air blower from another auto detail vendor that is easier to use.
  3. The Patriot wax is more of a concourse wax. The durability is about 2 months. It does produce a great shine. The Americana Wax will produce a good shine and last maybe a month or two longer. Both of them are great waxes. A little on the pricey side.
  4. I've used both and haven't really noticed any difference in shine or durability. Unfortunately for Adam's I've found a third party paste was that beats them both for ease of application, removal, shine (of course this depends on the prep work of clay and polishing) and (we'll see) the durability . Can't say who, but I'll use up my remaining Americana and Patriot and permanently switch.
  5. My Sunday morning ritual! Oh yea....and a cup of coffee to go with it!
  6. Dustin....my sediments exactly. Adam's needs to carry a Clay Lube in they're product line.
  7. Jason......with that mix, my friends have had issues with streaking while claying. Even with 4oz. of Waterless Wash, it still streaked. I'm sticking with a dedicated Clay Lube.....Thanks anyways.
  8. As for the dark side....LOL the Clay Lube was $8.00 cheaper than they're detail spray in gallons. I just didn't want to screw around and dilute and mix the Waterless Wash and RO water and have the clay leave streaks. If Adam's would have sold a Clay Lube, I'd buy it from them. That in a way is my point. I think Adam's needs a Clay Lube on they're product line that meets the high standards I have experienced and expect with Adam's products.
  9. Thanks guys.....I decided to buy a dedicated Clay Lube......too bad Adam's doesn't sell it!
  10. Do you think Adam’s would consider selling a dedicated Clay Lube Gallon size? The reason I ask is that if I use the Adam’s Detail Spray as a lube, it would get a little expensive over time with all the cars I’m claying. I can go to a third party vendor and buy a gallon of clay lube for $10.00 less than what I’m paying for a gallon of Adam’s Detail Spray. I will go thru a gallon in no time with the cars I’m going to have to detail over the next month for friends. I hate to sound like a penny pincher, but I'm a retired guy on a fixed income and with my Adam's addiction......well, you know! Just a suggestion.
  11. Thanks guys for the advise. I'm going to do a full detail and wanted to get all the old wax and stuff off first to make the polishing easier.
  12. Got a small problem. I have a friend of mine that want's his car detailed like "yesterday". I need to strip wash the car but I ran out last week and haven't order a replacement. If I ordered it now, it would take too long to get here. Anybody ever try taking Adam's Shampoo (1oz) and mixing it with Dawn (1oz) in the foam gun? I think that would raise the ph level to remove all the old was and junk on the car.
