  1. Will applying a quick sealant/ detail spray after every wash clog up the paint? I applied a sealant and wax, just feel naked doing my maintenance wash and not putting something on after
  2. I would say, even though its a few years old, check out Adam's "Shipping" video on youtube. The reason their shipping is sometimes slow is because they are a small company. Putting good people to work and they can only do so much. I have no problem waiting knowing that everything they do is putting American people and jobs to work, everything from their product development, to the cardboard boxes they come in. Alot of times theyre actually just waiting on the Fedex guy
  3. I also had seen a product called "nanoskin autoscrub" it looks like a pad that you attach to your DA, Ive heard some good reviews. Love my visco clay bar but I'm all for a quicker product IF it works as well. Has anyone had any expierience with it?
  4. I feel I have a pretty decent idea of the proper detailing steps. Two weeks ago I did a full paint correction on my car, Strip Wash, Clay, Correcting, Finishing, Sealant, and Wax. So dealing with maintenace washes after this, Im using car shampoo or other PH balanced soaps. How long will the wax last with a weekly mainence wash? I always treat my car with an unamed quicksealant/ deatil spray, is this something I need to do or is this step unnecessary? I might just be overthinking it with my OCD but help ease my mind haha
  5. Just a pipe dream but maybe one day I can talk the department into ceramic coating the trucks lol breaks my heart washing these things with giant truck brushes and using normal towels to dry
  6. I had ordered a brand new set of wheels in December and also put the cermic on them before I even put tires on! Can't wait to put them on and see the coating in action. Might steer me in the direction of doing the whole car
  7. Depending on the surface I dropped it on, and whats on the surface. I will try to get any debris off by hand, shaking the towel out, or using compressed air. Like others say, if I have any doubts it gets demoted.
  8. Thanks for the feedback guys, I figured it would be tough to get the bleed out, I'll try out the Revitalizer as a last resort but as long as they till do theyre amazing towels I'll be fine. Just gives me an excuse to buy more lol
  9. So after I did my first giant detail on my car, paint correction, sealant, wax and all. I had left my towels on top of the washer for when I got home from work. My girlfriend had put them in the wash, she washed them correctly but left all the towels together, so Adams towels, green CG, black CG, and a few odds and ends. some of these towels had alot of black residue from CG black wax. so when I get home my Adams towels are all a slight gray now. you can tell it was just bleed through of the other towels. Is there any way to ge these back to white for my sanity lol? They feel just as the did out of the package and still do their job but it kills my OCD, thanks for any advice!
  10. Hello everyone, I'm Dan, I live in St. Louis Missouri. I had spent the last 5 years working at a car wash, which helped grow my love for cars. I had grown up around any and all hot rods, from Camaros, Mustangs, Cudas, and everything in between. I had started getting the eye for detailing and after getting cars of my own my passion grew. I had just landed my dream job at a fire department so having 4 days off has given me time to pursue something I enjoy. I am new to the detailing world but spent the last 3 years religously watching detailers on youtube such as Adams, AMMO NYC, Kevin Brown, and Chemical Guys. I had some products from other companies but after friends let me borrow their Adams products I have fallen in love. Thank you guys for letting me join the community and I look forward to picking your guys brains and starting my journy of my 2nd passion!
