  1. I read that APC was even safe on leather. That seems a bit scary to me, but I'll try this on my tires next wash. I do use a greenworks pressure washer and Adam's foam cannon. I love those two. Currently I do a quick spray down with water, treat and clean the rims, then foam cannon and let that drip for about 4-5 minutes, rinse and then two bucket wash then final rinse and dry. THANK YOU!!! For this incredible detailed response. I am really dedicated to this new startup, it while I'm going to be starting part time my end goal is to transition out of my day job to be a full time owner / operator. My plan once I'm able to go out on my own would be to hire another person. Your 7th bullet has been something i've been readying myself for. My prices will be on the higher side of the market, but any cheaper and it wouldn't work. I know that my work is better than any 20 dollar wash out there, I'm not even sure how some mobile guys can offer a price that low.
  2. Hey Guys - I'm in the process of starting up a Mobile Detailing business and I'm modeling it around using Adam's exclusively. While it may be a pricier way to do business, vs buying meguires or something in bulk. Just curious to know if there are any other mobile detailers out there using only adams? Also, I have been working on doing drills on my families various cars and I cannot get my basic wash, exterior only down to an hour. Maybe I am a perfectionist, but by the time I do rims and foam and rinse and two bucket and final rinse and drying I am at an hour and a half usually before I even get to the interior. Anyone who has speedy tips for car cleaning in general would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
  3. I may be over using, i did about 3-4 all the way around the car at the same time. I'm in Phoenix, it was a 100 degrees out yesterday so cold wasn't a problem. The washed mid morning though before I'd driven the car and my wash space is completely covered so no direct sun light. I think I'm going try spraying on the towel first instead of on the paint. Only MF towels on the paint, literally the only thing that touches my car are adam's products. I used the great white drying towel as my main and following that with a double soft MF to polish. I use a foam cannon for the first soak and then take that off when to rinse, so no soap afterwards. I try to be pretty thorough with rinsing, so hopefully I'm not leaving any residue. Do you apply your spray directly to the paint? I have some of the orange towels, I'll give those a try. What towel are you using for you first pass to dry?
  4. Hey guys, hoping for some constructive input here. I'm doing something wrong with my detail spray because it's streaking and leaving a cloudy film behind. I know it's something I'm doing because I've used it perfectly fine in the past. I tried to capture what it looks like, but my camera wouldn't focus enough to pick it up. He's my method. Pressure wash, car shampoo foam bath, soak then rinse, two bucket wash down (three actually I do my wheel out of their own), pressure rinse again, then I went around the car misting the whole car and started drying with great white drying dowel and double soft. The car was cool and shaded the entire time. Looked great in the shade but when I pulled it out I could see the streaks. Any inusing too much? Maybe I let it sit too long? Is it like gloss and H2O GG, where the first towel needs to be wet? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!!
  5. Hey guys! Looking for some insight on light paint correction. I have a new charger in destroyer grey that is about 6 months old now. I have very very light scratches I want to polish out and finish with glaze, LPS and Americana. I'm wondering you all think Finishing Polish has enough cut in it to get very light scratches out? Honestly, they're so light I think a good seal and wax would fill them in to be honest, but if I'm going to clay and do all of that I might as well polish as well. Thoughts? Do I really need correcting polish?
