  1. Welcome and sweet freakin ride, love the black/white on the rear and those wheels are sick!
  2. For the CS3, yea, if you like playing around and trying different combos, like i do, give it a shot! Or just try it on a few panels or just the tailgate or hood, something like that. You can certainly do the same for the Spray coating , but it may not last long at all, that stuff needs bare paint for the best bond!
  3. I’m sure it’ll be great! On a daily driver pick up, I’ve had Ceramic Waterless last 3-4 months. And on both mine and my parent’s daily’s I’ve had Ceramic Boost last about 9-10 months. This is going to fit in between those 2 items. Also with the current BOGO sale I would jump on it!
  4. Yes so you have the most recent Spray Coating, he is using an older version in the video. Boost is still available and contains more SIO2, then the CS3. CS3 is great and you will love it as a waterless or as detail spray, on both coated and non coated vehicles. CS3 you can use a lot and often. Boost-less is more, and you want to use it around every other month, but I certainly recommend it, and if you can grab it now during the BOGO sale, even better.
  5. Hey, I wanted to throw a couple more pics up for those thinking about the new tire shine. I had the chance to clean the tahoe up the other day, and it got the new version on Tire Shine... (Edit- also used CS3 as a drying aid, over top of the coating)
  6. I believe Rich is referring to the product called “Surface Prep” ( https://adamspolishes.com/products/surface-prep )which is an alcohol spray that removes any remaining waxes and polishes after you prepped the vehicle for the coating. Utilizing “Surface Prep” is the absolute last thing you do just before the “Spray Coating” I will try and upload Adam’s video here...
  7. Welcome back Matt! Glad to have you back and sounds like you have been busy! Theres plenty of new to go around and Adam makes sure to keep the products up to date with the latest technology! Let us know what you’re looking for, we will gladly help!
  8. I have a couple observations here, - Ceramic Waterless has only streaked for me once and it was chilly and windy out, so it dried quick and I had never used it in the cold before. I sprayed a little more into a dry towel and it buffed away No other issues with it, in fact i love the stuff - Ceramic Boost use to streak all the time for me, even the newer stuff, it was frustrating. I was also using it constantly. So i stopped using it so much, then I would do just one spray into a towel first, then wipe the surface, that seemed to work, but then I was wondering if I was getting all the benefits. Now with the smaller sprayers that atomize the liquid more, I spray directly on the surface and no issues. The take away, it could be your towels and perhaps too much liquid, and maybe its drying on the surface too fast as well. Sorry to ramble, just some of my observations.
  9. Thank you Rich and JR and for Steve and JR, I think you guys will absolutely love it! Please keep us posted when you try it out!
  10. Here’s a picture of the roof of my truck from a month ago...this was a used beater truck i have been messing with for some time now. The roof of this thing was probably never touched since it came off the assembly line in 2001. Here you can see that, and on the bottom right, was just a single pass of Coumpound w/ Blue Pad and Polish w/ White Pad. It was chilly and I didn’t have a ton of time, definitely needed the Microfiber pad, so maybe in the spring I’ll get at it again. Either way the products did a hell of a job. I topped it with Spray Coating, but no pics of that, sorry.
  11. Ok, I found this one...this is a fresh picture of the NEW VRT
  12. The tire shine is about an 8 on a gloss scale, it gives my Bridgestones a nice very even glow. Here is a picture of a tire that had tire shine on it, and what it looks like after i cleaned it. The bottom 2 are VRT on my 2001 Silverado. Sorry I dont have a pic on hand of fresh tire shine
  13. If temperature controlled (50-80), products can last a few years, if its the latest version that says “HYBRID TECHNOLOGY” on the front, it is only about 12-14 months old. I would test in a small area before going all in with it.
  14. Looks great, thanks for the write up! VRT is an awesome product and the updated version has blown me away with its water beading and longevity! I highly recommend it!
  15. The updated TS is excellent, I really like it and it does indeed hold up very well! It looks very similar to the older version but will hold up better in rain driving and even against the pressure washer and fender brush. In fact even after scrubbing with the above and T&R cleaner, my tires still have a deep dark black matte look to them. Of course every tire will be different. The updated VRT is very similar and has blown me away with its water beading and longevity! I think you will be very happy with both of these within your business. Best of luck! 👍
  16. I’ve never used it and have no desire, I think its just like a Detail Spray, but if I’m wrong, i would say it like GnG. I believe its a polymer, and DS and GnG are sprays w/ polymers in them, that shine and add slickness and protection. Thats just me thinking out loud.
  17. Loving the new GMC! Looks great! In addition...you can use your spray coating on the bed cover, wheels, and all black plastic surfaces check out the video on this page https://adamspolishes.com/products/adams-blizzard-warning-kit
  18. That thing is freaking awesome Chris!!!
  19. All good uses, also water spots, or other odd stains, that a wash or waterless wouldn’t quite cut it
  20. Maybe soaking the whole head of it in super hot water? Then try running fresh water through it. Maybe also take the orfice out, and maybe try to loosen anything in there with a toothpick Ive never had one clog, but I think that would be a good start.
  21. New video posted about halfway down on the home page https://adamspolishes.com @Dan@Adams and @BRZN made the cut! Not sure how long its been there, just noticed today, but I know there was a different one there a few months ago.
  22. Just want to clarify is this the Paint Coating or Spray Coating? If its spray coating, i would wait an hour after application and do a second coat. Then wait at least 6-8 hours and hit it with Boost. Spray coating can also go on trim, windows, and lenses as well, just knock everything out on that new truck. Your steps sounds pretty good, Adam does have a nice YouTube channel, you should be able to the find coating videos there, as I have noticed some of the videos on the website have been changed.
  23. Right, honestly, I’m totally cool if they clog, tells me its a high quality coating! And in the first 2 versions like i said you could scrape it off the top. Not sure how much different this version is.
  24. I can not answer your current question, but i know with the original 8oz sprayers and the current ones that include the red tab, that Spray Coating does harden at the tip, and they do not require a new sprayer most of the time, all you need to do is use a finger nail, screw driver or something like that to peel the coating off at the tip and then you are good to go.
