  1. I went through the same thing, not fun but I was able to get all the road paint off thanks to Adams! http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/11322-fresh-road-paint-on-e55/
  2. Either way you still have a nice car, good photography skills too.
  3. Wow, nice job. I think you have a customer for life now. I think they took the "two bucket method" a bit to literally. You are not supposed to wash the car with the actual buckets lol.
  4. Car looks good, but please tell me those are not fake caliper covers on your brakes!
  5. I agree, my girlfriend has a few of them in her corporate fleet and they can't kill them. They have a 99 F-250 7.3L with 750k miles and it is still going strong on the original motor (seems like it needs a transmission rebuild about every 250-300k miles though). The 6.0's didn't last that long and the 6.4s seem to be a bit better than the 6.0, but not by much.
  6. Wow, nice job and thanks for the detailed write up.
  7. Here is a promotion going on for the Flex until 5/21/10 http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/detailing/211069-flex-polisher-promotion-save-up-17-free-shipping.html

    Groomsman's gift

Monogrammed cuff links are a good idea too..
  12. BMWs are great, but make sure you have some sort of warranty. You DON'T want to pay for repairs on that car out of pocket.
  13. It is lowered just a bit on Pfadt coil overs
  14. Thanks for the compliments. This was back in July, I was not able to make it out last weekend
  15. I hate to hear you are having a rough time in the relationship. From what I can tell based on your previous posts, it sounds like she wants you to transition roles from a boyfriend to the father of her child. IMO I don't think it is a control issue. I think she wants you to get rid of the bike so she does not have to go through the pain of losing you in the future if you get killed in a bike accident (or having to explain it to your child one day) She probably wants you to get rid of the Viper because it is an extravagance and not family friendly at this point in time. I would buy/keep something fun for you to drive (whatever makes you happy). Buy her a suitable kid friendly mobile and put a bunch of cash in the bank for living/baby expenses and start fully funding a college account for the child now.
  16. I have always been a Mustang/Saleen guy at heart and was never really found of Corvettes until the C5 came out. The C5 Z06 styling was always good looking to me and I decided to test drive a Z06 when I was looking at selling my Dinan S2 E39 BMW. I was giddy like a kid in a candy store after I drove the Z06, the car does everything well and parts/insurance costs are very reasonable compared to other cars in its class. Go drive one and let me know your thoughts.
  17. Thanks for the compliments everyone!
  18. I understand what you are saying about not wanting to put a bunch of money in the truck, but if there are blisters in the paint, it is either rust forming under the paint or the clear coat might be ready to start separating from the base coat.
  19. Sounds like it is time for a repaint w/o even seeing pictures.
  20. Looks good, drop it about 6in and it will be perfect
  21. I think I would buy some coveralls to put on for the job and then take off before I got back into the car? Or at least some seat covers!
