  1. Unfortunately, that usually just gives them more reason to throw some damage your way.
  2. A couple of chops from one of my favorite bands of all time: <iframe title="YouTube video player" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/CSfUNTXacZY" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="390" width="480"></iframe> <iframe title="YouTube video player" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/BHM2oozNoSY" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="390" width="480"></iframe>
  3. On the package for my California Car Duster it states "The dirtier it gets, the better is works." No cleaning necessary.
  4. My GF and I with our G8: Gawd I need to lose a few pounds.
  5. Alot of G8's on this forum ...looking good.
  6. Junkman! Thank you for these vids! I was just about to throw out my duster but now I have a use for it. I never really ground down on the car but I also didn't use it as lightly as you show in the video. Now I'll be scratch free with it.
  7. Thanks for this write up. I just got my PC Saturday and used it for the first time Sunday. I figured there was a better way to clean the pads after I was done for the day and this thread answered my questions. Thanks heaps.
  8. No more offices in SoCal but they will be ramping up their presence and doing more shows/clinics here.
  9. Production has been pushed back at least once but they are scheduled to start production on that color Dec 14th. Not sure how long it will take after that. I've heard some people getting theirs within a couple months and others waiting 6+ months.
  10. I would like to thank Adam and his team for being such gracious hosts at the clinic today. I learned some things and got a great deal on a ton of stuff. I was very impressed with Adam's customer service. He was quite busy but made a sincere effort to answer everyone's questions personally. It's nice to see that in a world where customer service is quickly becoming a long distant memory. The only downside from the clinic.....about half way home I realized we didn't take any pics....DOH!
  11. We got a sneak preview today at the clinic. Adam was handed the final cut DVD's and immediately popped them into the DVD player for us to enjoy during the clinic. Looks very cool.
  12. I am constantly wiping down the vehicle with detail spray or waterless car wash in between washes and the towels I use tend to get pretty dirty. If you only use your microfibers for polish and wax...what do you use for the quick Detail Spray wipe down?
  13. This is a cool thread so I thot I would contribute. I have a brand new Scion Key Chain that I don't need but can't see just tossing so it's up for grabs if anyone wants it.
  14. I work in Fontana and we are getting those same winds right now. Glad I have a company truck to drive. As much as I like driving the G8 I'm glad I don't have to risk a sand blasting.
  15. I'll be in the desert this weekend so you can take my car as long as you bring it back with a trunk load of Adam's stuff. How much do you think you could fit in 17.5 cubic feet?
  16. I totally wanted to make it but it fell on the wrong weekend for us. We'll be out at a place called Truck Haven (near the Salton Sea) doin' this: That's my other toy... 1990 Isuzu Amigo XS 4X4. No amount of Adam's will help this thing. I just paint or put a sticker over the body damage. Hopefully, I can make the next clinic.
  17. Time for some pancakes.... Thanks! (I hope you recover ok. lol) The G8 has had quite a few hours on that road as well. She handles it well. You know it! They don't start production on the Plum Crazy until December. So that means the car wont be ready till next year. Any ideas on what I can drive til then? Nevermind the pictures, I just can't wait to get it in the garage. But don't worry, pics will be forthcoming. To hold you over....it'll look something like this.... ....but it'll be an SRT8 instead. The hardest part will be deciding which one to drive on any given day. Hey...I've got no issues whatsoever if you wanna break into the house and leave a box of Adam's stuff under the tree for me. Yep...that was me. We've made it to that MotorGen meet for the last 3 months. You can pretty much bank on it being either me and/or my GF if you ever see a Purple G8 in SoCal. As far as I know, the next closest one is in Texas. Absolutely...I've gotta see if the Corsa shaved off any time. We'll be there with the EZ-Up...Here's hoping we get our custom parking spots in the "G8" section. That's the Stealth part of it. You have to see it in the sunlight to really get a good appreciation for it. It changes from Purple to Blue depending on which way the light hits it. I kinda got this thing for purple and blue cars. Thanks everyone for the nice comments.
  18. Hey all, Just wanted to pop in and say hi. I used to think all car care products were the same but now I'm a believer in the Adam's product line. I've been a member on this board for a few months. I haven't posted till now but I've certainly browsed around and I'm taking notes. I'm usually posting on GRRRR8.net & G8board. I have a 2008 Pontiac G8 GT. Stealth Blue Metallic. Mods include VMS tune, Vararam and Corsa exhaust. The girlfriend & I went looking for a 4 door sedan and we were blown away by this car. I also just placed an order for a 2010 Challenger SRT8 with the Special Edition Plum Crazy paint. Pretty excited about that. The G8 became a unrealized dream car but the Challenger has been my dream car since I was a kid. It's gonna be sweet having both of these beauty's in the garage. Here's a few pics of the G8: So far I've used the Waterless Car Wash, Detail Spray, Glass Cleaner and Americana Paste. All work great. I also tried the Swirl and Haze remover but doing it by hand just isn't getting it. So it's time for me to get serious. Here's hoping there's a Junkman kit under the tree this x-mas.
