  1. Thanks, that’s where I’ll start with a good wash and clay bar . I’ll post pics when done.
  2. Yeah, it looks pretty bad but I'll give it a try anyway.
  3. Thanks Shane. No, it has never been polished before. Just washed and waxed. Seems like the damage became noticeable just recently so I’m assuming it’s due to exposure to the elements. I’ll follow your advice on a test spot.
  4. Thanks Ray. A lot of good info and advice. I’ll just have to dive in and see how it goes!
  5. Hi everyone, Attached are pictures of my 2005 Nissan Titan. This truck was displaced from my garage last year in favor of a 2018 corvette. While I have tried to keep it looking good the paint is definitely showing signs of stress under the hot Texas sun. The worst area is on the roof of the cab. Any guidance on what products and procedures to help restore the finish would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  6. Welcome aboard. Beautiful vette! Attached is a pic of mine. Nothing but Adam’s products will ever touch her.
  7. Welcome aboard! The products are amazing and the people are great. You're right about the scents. Not only my cars but my whole garage never smelled better!
  8. Wow! Looks great. I'm going to try it out on my Nissan Titan this weekend. I'm hoping for results like yours.
  9. Hey thanks so much. As you can imagine, the thought of spraying water on my vette’s engine is terrifying. Since it’s new it doesn’t really need much yet. I’ll try it out first on my truck and once I gain some experience I’ll eventually do the stingray too.
  10. Moons21 you are absolutely right. It never ceases to amaze me how this philosophy seems to be falling by the wayside. I’m not sure of the reasons why. It ain’t rocket science!
  11. Thanks for the great advice. I will definitely check out the videos
  12. Congrats on a year in business Shane! You make great points and as a fellow business owner for over thirty years I will tell you that you are off to a great start. No matter what type of business you are in you can offer your clients three different variables- low price, high quality, and a high level of service. You can offer two of those variables at one time but not all three. My advice would be to focus on building long-term relationships with your clients and offer them high quality and service. Charge a fee that is fair to the client but fair to you as well. When people discover how good you are and trust is established they think of you as a friend and friends take care of each other!
  13. Hi everyone. We spend a lot of time cleaning and detailing the exterior and interior of our vehicles but I was wondering about how to clean and detail what’s under the hood as well. Thanks in advance!
  14. Nice results. Your cars look great!
  15. It went on really nice and easy just like the name suggests. It was also very easy to buff off the residue with a polishing cloth. After that I applied the brilliant glaze which really made it pop. From what I've seen on the videos here it won't last as long as the Patriot Wax. I may try that next time. I think if your time is limited and you want to make the car really shine go with the Buttery Wax.
  16. I was wondering the best way to buff it down after applying the wax, by hand or machine?
  17. Thanks again everyone for all the help. If I start using Patriot wax what is the best way to polish it after applying the wax?
  18. Ok,here are some photos after two bucket wash, clay bar, and buttery wax application. Used Adam’s glaze after that.
  19. I purchased your leather conditioner so I will use that right away as well as your glass cleaner on the windows. I watched the video on cleaning and sealing the windshield and tried it out on my wife's car. The glass certainly looks better than it ever has.
  20. Thanks for the help. The car is admiral blue metallic and it really pops so I want to maximize and maintain that shine. What about the interior? Right now it's mint but I want to keep it looking it's best also.
  21. Hi everyone. I'm a relative newbie to car detailing so I feel a bit overwhelmed by all the great posts and videos I've seen here. OK, so I just realized a bucket list item and took delivery of a 2018 corvette stingray coupe at the National Corvette Museum up in Bowling Green, KY. One of the things that was included with the car was some samples of Adam's products. That got my attention right away and led me to the website. Long story short we got the car home safe and sound. I ordered a bunch of product and tried it out on our daily drivers first. All I can say is wow! The cars never looked better. I'm wondering what tips or advice anyone has on detailing a brand new car. I don't drive it every day and when not in use it's garaged and under an indoor car cover. Thanks!
