Divorced, restoring an old house, built a boat, remarried, got a dog, tying to travel a bit more... Life's just been getting in the way of my old detailing obsession!

When switching out your foam cannon to the spray nozzle on your pressure washer, make sure the spray nozzle is secure in the gun. A 3200 psi sprayer sends a loose spray nozzle flying at about 8000 MPH. Luckily it didnt hit my window or damage my truck.......errrrr my friends window/truck. I would never make such a stupid mistake.Â

That car looks great! The background is sweet too. Great work. I see a pumpkin spice air freshener. It might be my favorite scent. I have only tried a few though so time will tell.Â

I bought my Silverado almost 4 years to the date and found out about Adams via gm-trucks.com. I finally bought a swirl killer in early 2018 and this is the second time using it. My skills are definitely improving on the correction process. My paint hasnt looked this good since I drove it off the lot. I also applied the tire armor a week ago and its still going strong after 3 days of rain and a car wash. Looking forward to trying the ceramic coating once I use up the rest of my buttery wax and americana. I still havent found an Adams product I dont like but all these new longer lasting trim coatings are by far my favorite. I loath faded trim but even more so I hate the tediousness of cleaning and recoating it.

@shane@detailedreflections and team Thank you for sharing your work. Every time I look at what your team is able to accomplish it just pushes me a bit more to continue to learn and up my game.  As an FYI, my wife appreciates it also, since her car gets the primary treatment. Although, she has been rather clear that when we get her new Blazer we'll be scheduling a northern vacation trip because she wants it to be the best it can be...Â
Â
@ObsessedDetailer While the Mustang is beautiful, it is just too bad that it isn't the right color.  I love my Mustangs and the job you did on that one would be beyond gorgeous if it was Red.

@ObsessedDetailer thank you. The mustang came out gorgeous and the photos are awesome. I wish we had a backdrop like that for some of the cars we work on. I don’t usually drive client cars more than I need to, so taking them for a shoot isn’t common practice. It’s just set up outside the garage. I’ll shoot my car one day this spring though.
Â
All the precious shots were shot with a 35mm prime lens. I forgot to do the metadata to list the camera settings. I know ISO was between 100-400 and the aperture and shutter speed dialed in with a light meter.Â
Â
@RayS you’re welcome for posting the work. I enjoy the critiques on it. We can always improve our game. If you come this way for the clinic, we may be able to do two birds with one stone?  Although if you want the absolute best work, I’d suggest not putting the blazer in the contest for a coating. It’s not a reflection of the candidates, but in the interest of time we won’t be doing the wheel barrels and not as much polishing. Unless those are compromises you’re willing to live with?  If you want the very best package we have, we can put it together for you!  Just shoot me a message and we can chat. You’re welcome to hang out and see how we work too if you’d like?  The cars I just posted were done with just Marquis and I.Â
Â
It’s still mind blowing to me that people will consider traveling for our clinic and to have us do work from some far away planes. Marquis and I were just talking about that the other day while we worked on the Jeep. We are just two guys in a small garage on my property who enjoy cars. We make our share of mistakes. But we strive to fix them. We are constantly learning just like everyone else. I enjoy being a part of a community that helps each other! Â
Â
So thank you for the support!  It means everything to us. And even though Marquis isn’t on the forum, I do share discussions with him regularly. So he is aware too!  Thanks again.Â

A friend of ours got a new car with his wife, and wanted us to do what we do to it. They settled on a five year coating. Â We installed the coating, interior protection and a glass treatment. This was a wheels off job, so even the barrels got coated. No interior shots since it was new, so nothing exciting to show there.Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
And we had a C7 Corvette Grand Sport come in for paint protection film on the front end and a nine year ceramic coating. We also installed a glass coating on the windshield and full interior protection.Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Currently in the shop we are installing a nine year coating on a brand new Jeep JL. Here’s some teasers of that. It’ll be finished up tomorrow and delivered on Monday when the final two layers of ceramic are cured up.Â

First, get a little angry 😡. Then cry for a few 😢. Then accept it 🙄. Then, assuming it's just rain residue and not muddy, break out WW/diluted RW (16:1) to clean off the spots (DS works, too), and anxiously await the next full wash 😎.

ObsessedDetailer reacted to Kraterer in Is the Pumpkin Spice H20 G&G the new or the old formula?
Ah, thanks,. Yes... it does separate after a short period of time.
.
I wondered because the one on the website is very purple in color, this is more of a muted red.Â
