  1. As much as I like the wash pads they don't perform very well on convertible tops...they leave fuzzies that are a pain to get off.
  2. Thanks all...I kind of figured there wasn't anything that could be done about the pits...
  3. Thanks to those that gave advice to my frustration thread...I actually listen and thus far have been pretty successful as you can see in pic 1 & 2. I do have a additional question..picture 3 is down towards the nose of the car and there is a lot of pitting from stones/pebbles. Of course I'm zoomed in to give ya an idea of what I'm talking about. I'm guessing there isn't much I can do about it. Or is there? Advice?
  4. Thanks to all for the info..I'll watch junkmans slow cut video. Go Blue!!
  5. ok, another question. As I move forward I find what appear to be fine surface scratches. I've been working on one particular area for a good 30-45 minutes and for the life of me I can't seem to get rid of these little surface scratches. I'm using SHR and have my pc set to just under 5 and using slow up/down and back and forth motions. Am I rushing things? Is it normal to spend this amount of time or even longer to get rid of such issues? Your suggestions/answers are greatly appreciated
  6. MSW probably was applied 12 hours before picture. Yes, I did apply FMP with the white pad. I'm just wondering if I didn't work with it enough. OK, now when you say to much product…are you referring to FMP or the SHR? 12 hours is mentioned. I've looked at the video that came with the product again and I can't find any mention of 12 hours. So I guess I'm confused with that. Thanks for all your help
  7. OK...Started doing the trunk on my sky...as you can see by the first picture some work was needed. Spent several hours and still not happy.. Looks like swirls are gone in the area I worked..but, to me it looks hazy. In that test area I machine polished and applied machine wax. Do I need to work that area more with swirl and haze?
  8. Have had my toy for a couple years now. Read about Adams products on the Sky forum and thought it was time I started taking better care of the paint. Just purchased the Adams complete 7424Xp Dual-action polisher kit. Before using it on the Sky I plan on learning how to use it on my '02 grand am, which believe me when I say…IT NEEDS HELP!!!
