  1. That was one great Corvette show, I really enjoy it... It was great to watch Adam (The Master) do his handy work in person... Thanks Adam for doing that personal demo on my car afterwards also... I really do appreciate it... Tmag put up some pictures in the lounge section on the forum, and I added some of to his thread also..
  2. And here's my personal favorite of the show... This thing is sweet Didn't mean to hijack your thread Tom, I just thought it would easier to add to your's and keep it all in one...
  3. Here's a few more of the vett show itself..
  4. Here are some of my pictures from the show that I'll add here... Here's Adam doing some correcting on my cars spoiler in the parking lot with those new 4 inch pads on a drill... Thanks for showing how to do it Adam, and I appreciate your personal demo on my car...
  5. Great pictures Tom, and it was nice meeting you and your daughter at the show... I agree with you 110% on meeting Adam himself, he is one great guy for sure... I'll add some of my pictures in a little while..
  6. Just wondering if there is any update on this Detail clinic yet? I've looked on Zip's website to see what's up with this, but haven't seen any mention of this happening...

  8. I placed my order last Thursday on my lunch hour hoping that it would be one of the first 300 shipped out Friday... I'm still waiting for the shipping confirmation today (Mon.) but haven't gotten it yet, and my order status says "not shipped yet". If it doesn't ship today, I won't get mine this week...:willy:
  9. I don't have a Corvette either... I was thinking that it's an ADAMS clinic hosted by a Corvette Specialist business, but open to all that would like to attend.. I got the address from the ADAMS Dealers list.. Zip Products 8067 Fast Lane Mechanicsville, VA 23111 www.zip-products.com

  11. I think I'm going to have to be there for this one... It's only about 80-90 miles south of where I live... It will be great to meet you ADAM... I'm looking forward to it...

  13. Yeah I guess I didn't point that out clearly, but that's what I meant to say with the swishing in the rinse and wash buckets that I rub the pad across the grit guards in both bucket before going back and touching the car...
  14. Very Good write-up Junkman !!! I have been using the 2 bucket system for over a year but not with grit guards... I had been using 2 washpads tho and rotated pads like so: First, I'd soak both pads in the soapy water and grab one of them and start washing the car doing one panel and than put that pad in the rinse water bucket, swish it around some and leave it in that bucket to soak more before going back in the soapy water bucket. Secondly, I'd grab the other pad and wash another panel, than take the first pad and go back in the soapy bucket, take the second pad to the rinse bucket and swish that one and leave it, than go back and grab pad one wash another panel and continue that process of washing and rinsing the pads til I got the car done. While this did help, I still got swirl marks... I now have an ADAMS foam gun, 2 ADAMS buckets with gritguards and caddys on both, 2 ADAMS washpads, and will continue doing the rotating swishing 2 pad/2 bucket system... But now with the gritguards to help do an even better job fighting those nasty swirl marks.
  15. I wish I had seen this thread earlier than today... I would have taken the 3 hour trip from Northern VA to be there... Sorry I missed this one...
