  1. Hi All - I purchased a 2016 Black Mercedes 3 years ago. It was full of swirls. I used Adams one step polish with a wool pad, followed by Adams finishing polish and a white foam pad....the results were phenomenal ! However, a couple of years have passed, and even washing with foam gun and taking extreme care, road salt has caused some fine scratches to return. Question - did my prior correcting process remove too much clear? Can I use another round of finishing polish to remove the current fine scratches? If I can - how many times can I use finishing polish with a white pad before I would remove too much of the clear coat? Any advise or direction would be helpful and appreciated. Thank you !
  2. I have a black 2018 F150. The paint is very brilliant, however when the sun hits it at certain angles, white transparent clouds appear in a few spots on doors and fenders. I follow a regimen of washing with Adams Foam Cannon, Adams ultra foam, I spray on adams detail spray while paint is still wet and dry with microfiber towels. Is this a condition that can be fixed with Adams products? Any ideas on what is happening - what these clouds/blemishes are? Is it defective paint or something minor? the clouds seem to be "growing" over time. Attached are pictures of the situation. Please offer your suggestions or directions....pleas help :-) Thank you !

  4. Hi All - I have a couple of John Deere tractors that have molded green plastic \ composite hoods and fenders. There are fine scratches in them and they are not as shiny as they could be. Are there adams products and process to restore these composite components and get a brilliant scratch free shine on them? I have used adams products to restore my Weber grill - came out like new. But that is painted metal and stainless. These tractors are mostly all plastics and composites. Please offer any suggestions on how to get these tractors back to like new. Thank you
  5. i have a black 1988 Mercedes 560sl. I believe that it has single stage paint - but I am not sure. It has minor swirls and minor scratches that I would like to remove. I would like it to have a wet look when completed. What steps and products should I use to restore the paint. I do have a Da polisher. Please help advise me. Any advice is welcome !
  6. Hi mc2hill - Thank you for the reply. Last rookie question......the Torq has a hard backing plate and a softer rubber one (both seem to accept 5.5 pads). Which one should I use with Adams Orange pad and correcting polish?
  7. Thank you Chris - very helpful advice. Hopefully this is not a sacrilegious question, but I can borrow a Torq 10fx polisher..... Will Adams pads fit and effectively work on the Torq 10fx?
  8. Over the winter I discovered Adams product online via Youtube. They seem very impressive. I have never used a DA polisher and have some fears about it, and was hoping to get feedback here on the forum. I have two new cars and don't want to mess them up ! I have a couple of questions for 2 cars: 2017 Corvette – Red metallic The dealer must have buffed the car and I notice some light buffer trails in hood when the Sun hits it a the right angle - looks awful I need to get these trails out of the finish - prefer using hand method due to my insecurity about using a D A what is the best way to remove these marks? 2018 Ford F150 – Black Truck is brand new What steps should I take bring out best shine and protect the paint? is it too soon to put anything on the new paint? I prefer not to use any type of ceramic coating What should I use for washing and ongoing maintenance?
