  1. Thank you everyone for all the tips! Very much appreciated! I also wanted to share what I received from Dan at Adams. Very much in-line with what was suggested. Looking forward to spending my weekend in the garage!! ?? Colin Dan Thu, 05/17/18 8:23 am Good morning Colin, Thanks for contacting us! Do you have any pictures of the scratches you could share with us? Since it's usually impossible to fit most machine polishers in those door handle areas, you'll have to polish them out by hand. I would start with our orange Correcting Polish with our Orange Hex Grip Applicator, then step down to the Revive Hand Polish with the Blue Hex Grip. https://adamspolishes.com/shop/exterior/polishing/adam-s-paint-correcting-polish.html https://adamspolishes.com/shop/accessories/buffing-pads-applicators/adam-s-orange-hex-grip-applicator.html https://adamspolishes.com/shop/exterior/polishing/adam-s-revive-fine-hand-car-polish.html https://adamspolishes.com/shop/exterior/polishing/adam-s-blue-hex-grip-applicator.html https://adamspolishes.com/shop/accessories/microfiber-towels/adam-s-single-soft-microfiber-towel.html The orange hex grip is a much firmer foam designed for cutting through imperfections with the Correcting Polish, then you will refine it down with the much softer foam of the blue hex grip with the Revive Hand Polish. Work each polish back and forth and up/down in the area several times, then wipe away the residue with a plush microfiber towel like our Single Soft Towel. It may take a few applications with the Orange Hex to start seeing results - just make sure that you do not get the paint too hot and that you do not focus on a hard edge for too long, since you don't want to wear through the clear coat. Work on the area for a bit, take a few minute break to clean something else like the interior, then go back at the door handles - you never want to polish angry Once it's looking better, apply a layer of our Paint Sealant or one of our waxes for protection and extra shine. Please let us know if you have any other questions and we'll be happy to help out! Respectfully, Dan@Adams
  2. @ZMAN024 thank you for the suggestion! I’ll give it a go!
  3. @falcaineer thank you! Yeah, that’s why i’ve been trying to hold out as long as I can...?
  4. Hey everyone, So cool to read through these threads — so much great information. I’m about to place my first big order of Adam’s Polishes goods. Any recommendations on removing fingernail scratches under the door handles?? Thank you in advance! Colin
