  1. There are plenty of 20-30 gallon portable water tanks that you wheel around with you. They are used often for camping and are relatively inexpensive. The good thing with the 20-30 galllon portable tanks is that they generally have the volume needed for the job while also remaining reasonable in their weight for being on wheels. While I hadn't thought about the need for having deionized water for going around the house for the windows. Why not run the water through the Deionizer and put it into the portable tank to wheel around your house. That way you can leave the Deionizer stationary insteady of trying to move it around the house? It would probably be easier to do and would reduce the risk of damaging an expensive piece equipment by constantly moving it.
  2. Set between two of the 20'sh foot ladders this will let you get to all the areas. Plan on doing about 2 feet a time for the length of the vehicle and go all the way across. It is a slow process and is easier to move the vehicle than to move the ladders and scaffold. You need to pick the right brand and length of the scaffold to ensure your vehicle can go between the ladders. Laying down on the scaffold does make the process easier, but there is nothing that makes it comfortable. I found that having the ladder closest to the vehicle in a more verticle stance made the setting more stable and more room along side the vehicle.
  3. I will highly recommend using the longest lasting coating you can on the grill and putting the coating on before you put it in the vehicle. The wife's vehicle is a Denali and the grill has so many small areas that it takes me about 2 hours just to do the grill and the worst part is sitting on the stool the whole time.
  4. I can attest to the point that the same bottle used on two vehicles one weekend apart have a vastly different logenvity. The garage queen went nearly 2 years between any deterioration was noticed while the outdoor daily driver was just over a year before it needed another treatment. The daily driver did receive washes much more often while the garage queen gets cleaned with CS3 about every 6 weeks and Graphene Detail Spray every couple of weeks.
  5. About 90% of my spray nozzles are from Adam's and came with the bottles and I still have about 15 or so of the Pre-Covid nozzles, which are excellent. If you are looking for something for the small bottes, go to your local hobby store, they generally have a good variety and decent prices. Many of them are made for handling paint and solvents, so the chemicals work fine with them. If you like nozzles that do more of a mist, then look at the beauty/barber shop suppliers and if you like sprayers than fan out rather well check out your local plant nursery, not the ones in the big box stores, but the ones that actually sell the plants and supplies. Word of advice, don't take the ones your wife bought for misting her plants - no need to ask me how I know that. Finally, if you want something you can drop on the floor and don't have to worry about breaking, check out the Grainger Tough Guy series of spray nozzles. Don't cry when you see the cost of them.
  6. I have a few bottles that are in the 3-5 year old range and like you all my chemicals are kept in a climate controlled room. I always make sure I shake the bottles well before using and same for the gallons before putting any in smaller bottles. I've found that a few products, like Paint Sealant and Revive Hand Polish, take more shaking than others to ensure they are well mixed. I have not had any issues with how well they work. Of course if the bottle is not sealed properly that will cause them to go bad or as you stated some of them to dry out.
  7. Hi Rich, If you need it this weekend, stop by your local Chevy dealer and you'll most likely find it in the waiting area for service. At least the Chevy dealer near me has the cost the same as Adam's web site, even when there is an Adam's sale.
  8. I do hope you get your warmer weather soon. I must say the picture of your normalyl immaculate car, looks pretty sad.
  9. Welcome to the Forum.
  10. I know what you mean about some vehicles are almost, if not, impossible to see the rainbow. I missed an entire panel on a light yellow vehicle and it took me 2 days and natural sunlight to be able to see that I didn't even coat it.
  11. Hi Rich, The parameters you provided seem to be within reason. I've had it take between 1.5 minutes to 5 minutes for the coating to be ready to be leveled. There ae so many variables between air temperature, body panel temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, the wife's mood and which direction I had the ceilings fans going in. In the cases where you can't see the rainbow and many times when you can, the feel seems to be a more accurate indicator. I'll recommend you look for any high spots again and if you can get it into natural daylight that is even better. Compared to the first couple of versions, the coatings have gotten pretty easy to work it and outcome is really based on the the prep work.
