  1. I got mine today and just gave it a try, and I like it a lot. I have an '05 Corvette and it is my daily driver. This past weekend was a perfect example. I spend a good part of Saturday washing and polishing the car. Sunday is a beautiful day and we go for a cruise. Monday, it rains like hell and you can't tell I did anything to the car. With this stuff, just a quick spray and wipe and it looks great. If not for that, I would have had to do the whole cleaning thing over again. This stuff, like all of Adam's products, is superb!!!
  2. Excellent job, as always, Adam. I can't wait until it's spring-time here in good old Hebron, KY so I can get outside and get to work on detailing up the old Corvette. I'm still using first generation pads but am thinking I might upgrade once the weather gets better here. Hope we cross paths sometime this summer!!
  3. That is weird. I've been out there countless times. I have seen the temperature get to around freezing and have seen a few flurries. But I've never seen any accumulation other than up in the mountains...
  4. I went in 2006. I liked it a lot but all shows have their pros and cons. I like Bloomington Gold better.....
  5. Thanks for all of the kind words. When I got out of college, I went to work in state government. In those days, you could retire at any age with a full pension after 25 years of service. That is exactly what I did. After a few months of laziness, I took a job on a dare at a well-known Wall Street brokerage firm. 15 years later (today) I am retiring again. For good this time!!! 40 years of work is enough. Now it's time to be with my wife, my children, and my grandchildren. All I have to do besides that, is save some time for car detailing and road tripping in the Corvette. This is going to be SWEET!!!!!!!!!
  6. I fully understand. Today just happens to be my last day of work, as I am heading for retirement. That makes Carlisle a whole lot easier for me to do because TIME is what I have now. I'll have to check, but Carlisle '09 might be the dates we are heading west for our road trip. I'm not sure. But we will hook up, no doubt. Thanks for your hospitality and keep on giving us world-class detailing products and your one-of-a-kind world-class customer service!!
  7. That sounds fantastic and might just be something for us to think about?? Again, it is a way off yet, but are you thinking you will be at Bloomington Gold this year?? I'll talk it over with my wife and we can talk at Bloomington if you are going to be there.
  8. I know it's a little way off, but my wife and I are doing this road trip next year http://www.bloomingtongoldtours.com/park_tour/default.htm
  9. Hey Adam, are you anywhere near Telluride, CO??
  10. I saw Adam giving a demonstration a few years back at Bloomington Gold Corvette Show and decided to give his stuff a try. It worked great but I had some trepidation regarding cleaning the engine compartment of my 1990 Corvette. I sent an e-mail to the web site and was very surprised to not only get a response from Adam himself, but he included his personal cell phone number and told me to call when I was getting ready to start and he would walk me through the procedure if I wanted him to. What other owner of any type of company would do that?? I've never used anything else since then and am always happy to see Adam and share a cold one at Bloomington. (Except not last year. He didn't show up. Said something about having a kid.) We also met once at Corvettes at Carlisle. (He will remember the Hebron, Kentucky t-shirt.) And I'm already looking forward to next year's Bloomington. Bottom line--there are a lot of quality cleaning and detailing products out there. But NONE of the others can touch the customer service provided by the folks at ADAM'S. I would never consider buying my car stuff from anyone else....
  11. I used to have a 1990 Corvette and took it once to the dealer for routine oil change, etc. They had one of those lifts that has 2 ramps that you drive the car up on. I was watching from the Customer area and the guy drove it barely onto the lift, I guess was unsure if he had the wheels centered, so he then cut the wheels, moved forward, and drove it off of the side of the lift. That was not a good day.
  12. I live 5 minutes from Covington, KY. The best classic rock station in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati OH area is WOFX, 92.5 http://www.wofx.com/main.html
  13. I've never had a problem with the duster, but dust is all that it is good for. If there is even a little dirt, or grime, or spots, etc., the duster does no good. In the summer, I usually wash every week, detail spray every 2-3 days, and dust in between unless it rains or gets even a little bit dirty. The duster doesn't do anything with that.
  14. Thanks. I've been using your products for about 3 years now and have done business with Jason and Adam. Do you go out to any of the car shows?? I'm at Bloomington Gold every year and if you make it over there, I'll see you next June for certain.
  15. There are some SWEET horse farms in that area. There is a lot of BIG TIME money down there. Too bad my kid doesn't have any of it!!!!!
  16. Lexington and Georgetown are in central Kentucky. My son lives in Georgetown and it certainly is beautiful down there. My wife and I have road-tripped all over the country and every area and state has it's own type of beauty, but, there's no place like home!!
  17. Hebron is in the northern tip of Kentucky. Just a few miles south and across the Ohio River from Cincinnati, Ohio.
  18. Me and the wife taking delivery of our '05 Corvette
  19. Absolutely. I am a Phi Gamma Delta. I went to a small college in Indiana. Hanover College. There was a Sigma Chi chapter there as well. Those were without a doubt some of the best days of my life!!
  20. Is that on Route 66?? We've travelled it a lot and that station looks familiar.
