  1. Take home car is a nice perk.....only me in it!! You can eat off it in and out....to include engine bay. ?
  2. Iceman.....I enjoy them both for different reasons. Both handle great and both look great.
  3. Thanks. As for the wheels, c'est la vie. Personally, I don't think the silver 5-spoke that SCHP has would look good with our color scheme...the black blends in. As for the color, I"m not a fan. "John Deere Green" would not have been my first choice, but who am I to argue with 71 years of tradition. haha!! Have a good weekend!
  4. Took advantage of one of the last warmish days in VT and got the "company ride" done up. Of course, I had to touch up the CTS as well. Sunshine, Adams' and a couple of cars.....great way to get some "therapy". haha!! Have a great weekend, all.
  5. I posted an earlier thread titled "very pleased". In that post are pics of my wife's GMC Terrain and my CTS after I did them both. The Cadi ones could be better but it was cloudy that day so the light didn't do them justice. However, as my buddy told me....you can see the gloss even on a cloudy day so you know it's good! "Glass half full" type of guy....hahahaha!!! Mike E.....stay safe out there. Ray S....Wilmington is fantastic...can't wait to get there!! Have a good weekend all.
  6. BrianT: I'm in the Montpelier area. Lived in Bennington from 1998-2000, then moved north when I changed barracks. I retire next year and am headed to Wilmington, NC area....tired of the snow and cold. ha! Ray
  7. Hey Y'all: So...I put the cart before the horse and posted a Testimonial before I said hello. Guess I was too excited about how the cars came out. I've had an obsession since I was young about keeping my cars immaculate. I think I got it from my grandfather as I recall spending Saturdays with him helping him wash and "Simoniz" his cars, which were always immaculate (great memories). Over the years, I've tried everything from Black Magic, Mothers, Meguiars, and anything else I thought was the "latest and greatest". I"m a huge Cadillac fan and came across Adams by accident. I was on the Cadillac website building my dream car (CTS-V). When I got to the "accessories" tab, I opened it to see what they had to offer. It was then I saw an Adams detail kit. I had never heard of the product so I went to the website. I watched some videos and decided to try some products. I've been hooked ever since and tossed just about everything I had and replaced it with Adams products!! I've been so pleased I decided to post in the Forum. Looking forward to checking out everyone else's rides and enjoying some chat with fellow car enthusiasts. Hope everyone has a great week. Ray
  8. Got the CTS done today....only wish it was sunny out to give it justice!!! (Paint sealant with a quick coat of Buttery Wax) cadi 2.mp4
  9. Thanks, Jim! I love the Adam's products. I came across them by accident when I was on the Cadillac site "building" my dream car. I happened to click on "accessories" and saw an Adam's bundle kit. Having never heard of them, I went to the website, tried some, and have been hooked ever since. I've used a LOT of stuff over the years and by far, Adam's is my favorite and new "go to". I actually did both cars about 2 weeks ago using the Strip Wash, clay bar, H20 Guard and Gloss, and Buttery Wax. I went with the full paint sealant this week after watching the video. I wish I had seen the video a few weeks ago...I'd have saved myself several hours' labor had I sealed them from the get go. C'est la vie! They should be well protected for the upcoming VT winter!
  10. I always thought "wax" was good until I saw Adam's "water cooler" chat on the differences. Based upon that, "sealant" is for me (every day driver, in the elements, etc). That being the case, within minutes of watching the video I ordered Adam's paint sealant. I did my wife's black GMC Terrain first (yesterday) and OMG!! The shine is amazing! I could not be happier and have told everyone about it. Some time this weekend I plan to do my Cadillac CTS (Thunder grey chromaflair color). I can't wait to see how it looks.(pics/update to follow) Thanks Adam!
