  1. I coated my car about 2-1/2 years ago and am having the same issue—streaming that has just now occurred. Maintenance routine is graphene shampoo with cannon, and then the two bucket method, using an ego blower to dry, followed by graphene CS3 each wash. This last wash I tried using some slick and slide I received from a mystery bucket. But, the streaming didn’t occur with the application of slick and slide—that went on GREAT, looked and felt amazing. Went to do the weekly wash the and the streaks appeared. thoughts?
  2. Dan, thanks for the detailed reply, I appreciate it! I think I'll order it and see how I like it.
  3. How does it compare to H2O G&G? Not a complaint, but the product line just seems a little overwhelming. Maybe it's the OCD in me--wanting to have the best, but understanding what's different and why it's actually better. As it stands, I did a full correction--clay, polish, seal, BG, then topped with Americana. I wash every 3-7 days, I was using detail spray as a drying agent and between washes. Recently, I started using H2O G&G after washes. I usually renew the BG and Americana every 4 weeks or so. Sometimes the BG as an extra topper, although I'm as impressed with it as I expected to be. Long story short, where does slick and slide stack up into the product line?
  4. Thanks everyone for the inputs. I did another coat of Americana last week. I'll probably order some HGG just to see how it works and then use it on my wife's car if I don't like it. I put some BG on this afternoon after washing just to see how it'd look. Came out great, I know it doesn't last long, which is fine. I just hope it doesn't negatively impact the Americana under it--smells solvent heavy...
  5. Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll post some pics--it's rained all week, so I haven't been able to get any
  6. Thanks for the replies guys! I picked up some detail spray and will likely use some spray wax. I will probably try out H2O G&G at some point, but I have a feeling it'll end up taking away the warm and deep carnauba glow that American gives it the dark paint. Cheers, Jason
  7. I have a GT350 as well, so I'm interested in how you like it?
  8. I recently did a paint correction my my GT350 (blue w/ white stripes). Did the clay, compound and polish, paint sealant, brilliant glaze, and then topped with Americana. i usually wash my car every 3-7 days, as required—it’s garaged, but daily driven. What product and regimen do you all recommend to top the Americana with after washes to keep or better yet, booster the gloss and depth. I know there are several LSP options out there and all the new rage is ceramic and the complimentary products. What should I look at? Detail spray, guard and gloss, spray wax? I’m assuming ceramic boost wouldn’t play well with the Americana, nor would it keep the warm and deep carnuba look I love, or would it? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Jason
  9. Hey Adams Family, Recently bought a few Adams products, previously used pinnacle and blackfire stuff. I signed up for the forums to learn more and connect with the experienced users. I have a 2016 GT350 that I garage, but daily (unless the weather is bad enough to force me to take my wife’s car). Car is in decent shape and well cared for. I enjoy driving it, but also like to make sure it looks the best it can, and I enjoy putting the time in on it. I recently bought a Griot’s G9 and Adams, Clay mitt, compound, polish, paint sealer, and Americana. I spent the weekend washing with dawn a few times to strip the old stuff off, then claying, washing with dawn again, then compounding and polishing, followed by the paint sealant, brilliant glaze, and Americana. I still have some leftover products that I’ll use until they run out: — Blackfire Tire Gel — Pinnacle Waterless wash and wax (used to use this for light dust removal and cleanup each time I drove the car) — Blackfire Spray Wax (used to use this every other wash or so...) — Chemical Guys Snow Foam (I use it with an MTM foam cannon) — Blackfire Trim Sealant I’m looking forward to learning from you all, thanks for having me. Cheers, Jason
