  1. Just about out of my interior detailer and saw that adams has a new product “total interior cleaner” that is new since my last order. From reading the description it sounds like it has more cleaning power and versatility than the interior detailer but was curious if anyone has replaced the interior detailer with this product?

It sounds nice that it can be used on glass, navigation screens, carpet, etc but just wondering if it’s too strong for weekly use and if it makes sense to stick with the interior detailer.

  2. I’ve been doing the same as far as trying to reduce the number of products I use during my washes. For me it would all come down to how often you use CS3/ waterless wash. If you drive the car regularly and use it every 1-2 weeks I would just use the cs3 and eliminate the waterless wash. But if more frequent I would use the CS3 every 1-2 weeks and the waterless wash for any additional waterless washes for the simple reason of avoiding it building up on the paint.

  3. I had a question about the wheel and tire cleaner. Finally decided to try it (previously used tire and rubber cleaner and the eco wheel cleaner) and noticed it Is in a different bottle then all my other Adams products and tried searching and found a few mentions of this product eating through the other bottles (unsure if this is the reason it’s different)

I usually wash weekly and my wheels and tires don’t get too dirty so I’ve always diluted the dedicated rubber and wheel cleaners and was hoping to dilute the wheel and tire cleaner but only have an old bottle from the rubber and tire cleaner.  Does anyone dilute the tire and rubber cleaner in a standard bottle and if so have you had any issues or any suggestions?

  4. I’m sure it adds a little more protection but I would recommend trying a 16 oz and seeing if you like it. Some of these si02/ graphene products can be very finicky depending on base protection and what the weather is. I tried the CS3 and couldn’t for the life of me get it to work properly and not streak so I just just the normal detail spray now.

With that said I wouldn’t be afraid to try any new Adams products. Never know when you may like a new product better. I thought I was going to replace detail spray with CS3 and it ended up being the first product of Adams I’ve ever had issues with and they stood behind their 100% satisfaction guarantee so I wasn’t out anything and ended up just restocking on the standard detail spray.

  5. If you can get pictures of the spots that are not coming off that would be helpful. There is a chance you may need to clay the car to get them off if they are embedded in the paint.

one thing I would suggest is strip wash is intended for when you are going to reapply the coating or wax. I would not recommend using it every wash and would stick to a normal shampoo although I wouldn’t think strip wash would be strong enough to remove a coating.

  6. Honestly The Cs3 and detail spray really do the same thing except the CS3 has more cleaning power and can be used as a waterless wash if the car is more dirty where detail spray should only be used for light dust and fingerprints.

Once you finish your detail spray you can replace it with CS3 and have a single product or continue to use both.   The shine should be similar with both products.

  7. Either the normal CS3 or graphene CS3 can be used as a drying aid.

from my understanding the difference between graphene CS3 and graphene detail spray is detail spray is meant to add shine after a wash or for light dust and fingerprints. Graphene CS3 Is more of a combination of a detail spray and waterless wash where it adds shine but can be used to remove substantial dirt within reason meaning if there is dirt caked on it would be best to pre rinse or just do a traditional wash.

  8. I had a question about product dilution and shelf life.  I know generally Adams recommends using products within 2 years and I do store my chemicals inside to avoid extreme heat/ cold. My question is with a product like rinseless wash that can be diluted into a waterless wash/ detail spray like product would diluting the product with distilled water impact shelf life?  I don’t go through a ton of product and obviously it would be easiest to add 8 ounces of rinseless to a gallon of distilled water. But I’m wondering if that would impact the product at all and if it would be better to just mix up a 16 ounce bottle at a time.

curious to others thoughts on this and if anyone has diluted products and stores then for an extended period of time (4-6 months).

  9. I would start off with car shampoo during a wash and see if that gets it off. If not wheel cleaner will be your best bet. But I would just make sure that the wheel is dry and spray it down before applying wheel cleaner.  Not specific to Adams but I’ve heard horror stories of wheel cleaners leaving marks on wheels when applied to a hot dry wheel or when it is left on too long.

  10. I’ve been using Adams products for a little over a year and started off with the buttery wax as my primary protection along with some of the maintenance products (spray way, detail spray, etc).

ideally I would like more protection and was considering the LPS but the one thing that scares me is how it states it will stain trim.  When others use this do you normally go through the trouble of taping off the trim? Or just avoid it and wipe off immediately if you accidentally get some on trim. If some were to get on trim how difficult would it be to remove?

also I was planning on polishing the car with revive hand polish since I don’t have a polisher yet. From what I’ve read this is a chemical polish and doesn’t have abrasive material that would cause any scratches or marring. Is that correct? And has anyone ever done their entire car with Revive hand polish? If so what were the results.

  11. I’ve used the interior detailer and have had great results. I’ve also tried the normal pink detail spray with great results but I know the interior detailer has Microban to help disinfect as well. I think either are fine and honestly I usually just mist a few sprays on a towel and wipe as I never let my interior get very dirty so this is mainly to get rid of dirt/dust that may blow in the car when driving.

I have not tried the new interior cleaner (blue color) but on the description I know it Dan be used on carpets as well. But I would say the main difference between the detailers are they are more general maintenance vs the cleaners which is more heavy duty and meant for cleaning stains or if you spilled something.

  12. If it’s covered you could use either the waterless wash, ceramic waterless wash, CS3, or the graphene detail sprays to remove the dust.

as far as washing I would imagine any of the Adams shampoos would work fine. I would just recommend using the 2 bucket method with grit guards in both buckets.  Depending on how much time you have to spend washing your car you can also use a foam cannon or foam  gun for a prerinse but I personally just use the standard 2 bucket method and do not use any sort for foam gun/ cannon. Opinions on them vary some swear by it while others don’t feel it makes enough of a difference to be worth the effort.

  13. Hello all,

So I finally made the leap into Si02 products and just received my order one of which was CS3. The bottle was sealed but it seems like a portion of the formula separated and formed a ring around the upper portion of the bottle.  In the past with carnauba based products I’ve had separation with Adams products but after shaking them the product chemicals recombined. After shaking the CS3 for 5-10 minutes it doesn’t seem to recombine and was curious if others have had the same issue with this product?

I’ll post some pictures shortly if that would be helpful.  I tried to stick my finger in the bottle and it feels like a really thick syrup that is built up around the top of bottle.

  14. After you apply the ceramic I believe you are suppose to let it sit a few days without washing or applying any other products. For the other products you listed it would be excessive to apply all at once.

the ceramic wax can be applied as a topper once the coating has cured fully.

for the ceramic boost I would use every few months to boost the coating/ paste wax.

for the detail spray I would use it like you would any other detail spray either as a drying aid or to remove light dirt/ dust.
